Pih

This game is a great example of an action packed single player shooter. I have personally heard much praise for games such as Ultrakill, The Call of Duty campaigns, and many other classics in this genre, however none live up to the elegance and craftsmanship of Pih. Pih appears on the surface to be a simple game about shooting pigs, similar to the likes of Blood and Bacon. However, upon closer inspection a skilled gamer can uncover the hidden beauty of this work of art. Mechanics such as time slow, frozen bullets, and fire bullets make for a rewarding and highly technical experience with an extremely high skill ceiling. Not to mention, the various enemy types. There are of course your standard pigs, however after sinking in a few hours you may notice a multitude of different variants. These include, but are not limited to, the notorious boars, the classic yet stylish gold hog, and even the air born flying hogs. When pigs fly, am I right? Jokes aside, this game is a true gem, a soon to be legend, and it belongs in any esteemed gamer's library. And, as a cherry on top, the long awaited sequel Pih 2 is set to release in just two days! When it comes to this game, nay, this masterpiece, there is nothing not to love. Thank you Pih, you have made one man's life just that bit better.

I have played over hundreds of games during my life, from the peak of the mountains best games to the bottom of the barrel worst, and all that sit in between. I have seen series born, and series die out in front of me. As a long term gamer from all walks of life and ever possible path, this is the best thing I have ever played.

Will keep my review negative until the original title of "Big Pig" is reinstated. "Pih" is lame.
