Devil May Cry 5

Gotta be the best one in the series gameplay wise but the environment lacks the eeriness of the OG trilogy. Still had a blast finishing this one.

A game where vergil creates a problem so that vergil can avoid paying child support and commit tax evasion. Talk about motivation

Gameplay so good, even a devil may cry. First Hack & Slash I've ever played. Game was so good I went backwards to play through it's predecessors. Funny story, I actually saw gameplay of DMC4 in my early teens while in a shopping mall as the game was available to play on those free console tryouts in game stores. The scene of Nero punching the ground after being unable to save kyrie midway through the story stuck with me. The fact that I was lucky enough to play the whole series through steam and unlock a core childhood memory is amazing.

одна большая постирония. в этой части есть всё - сюжетки, которые когда-то понравились игрокам, вергилий опять в мемах про motivated and power, никак не поменявшийся с последнего появления, опять драка данте и вергилия, куча отсылок и фана, которые даже игроки прошлых частей будут с трудом понимать, есть данте, которому уже 300 лет, но он всё ещё троллит собаку и танцует, как майкл джексон. короче миллион фансервиса, но на сюжет тоже не забили, он серьёзный и наконец-то законченный. игра прям солянка, но всё равно пик, лучшая в серии, в целом лучший слэшер с самым богатым и возможным арсеналом, хотя казалось, ещё в 4-й части, что некуда больше развиваться, но они все равно умудрились добавить глубины с помощью миллиона оружия, разнообразия, а самое главное стильности. даже графика спустя 7 лет всё ещё суперкайфовая. минусы есть, но ведь цепляет всё равно

I wish Steam's review system had a mixed review option. Positives; Dante's gameplay is cool, bloody palace is the best it has ever been, the weapons besides DSD and the bike are incredible, the sin devil trigger is epic, we finally have a build in training mode, and Vergil's theme is awesome. and I really like the new moves for gunslinger. Unfortunately that is where my compliments end. The game has tedious, repetitive and boring level design, the bosses are significantly worse than DMC1, 3 and 4. V is horrible but we are forced to play as him, the new designs for the characters are boring and look odd, there's a significant lack of unlockable content, the story is really really bad which is a shame because it had the potential to be so much better, the music is not devil may cry-like at all, and the co-op system is so worthless it's not even worth implementing. The game also feels far more floaty than previous games. Sadly, I have to say this is the worst game in the franchise.

shorter than I expected but it was great fun, every character felt different and the progression felt nice, I didn't try to rush through the main story but it seems I still missed a lot of the secret missions (perhaps a reason to go back and play through another time) overall enjoyment 10/10

BEST hack and slash game to exists (Metal gear rising: revengeance's big brother) Although some missions are a bit boring, this is still a MUST game to play. Don't even start with the OST.... absolute masterpiece. Anyway here's a recipe for Berried delight to keep you motivated - 1/2 c. Honey Maid® Graham Cracker Crumbs 1/4 c. sugar 6 tbsp. butter or margarine 1 package Philadelphia® Cream Cheese 2 tbsp. cold milk 1 tub Cool Whip® Whipped Topping 4 c. strawberries 3 1/2 c. cold milk 2 package Jell-O® Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding Additional sliced fresh strawberries Step 1: Mix crumbs, sugar, and butter in 13- x 9-inch pan; press onto bottom of pan. Refrigerate 15 minutes. Step 2: Beat cream cheese and 2 tablespoons milk in large bowl with wire whisk until well blended. Gently stir in half of the whipped topping. Spread onto crust; top with strawberries. Pour 3 1/2 cups milk into large bowl. Add dry pudding mixes. Beat 2 minutes. Pour over strawberries. Step 3: Refrigerate 4 hours or until set. I spent about 25 minutes battling the Goliath and got obliterated very suddenly. I didn't have enough red orbs to revive, but I did have gold orbs, which I was about to use before I accidentally clicked through to the store. A weird pay-to-win tactic for a single player game, but I'm not judging that. What I AM judging, is that when I tried to close the Steam overlay, the game blew up. Not a great impression after less than 2 hours...

I opened this game with my expectations very low especially with my PC. Once I got in, I was immediately obsessed. I LOVE this game. One of my favorite games that I have opened up. The game, the story, and the characters are all perfect. I for sure recommend this to everyone.
