Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 6.57/day in the week to Aug 24 → 10.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
DMC 4 is a highly entertaining and stylish action game that builds on the series’ fast-paced combat system and offers even more content. The combat system is fluid, flashy, and extremely satisfying. However, the game does have some notable flaws. The second half of the game reuses many levels and bosses, which can feel repetitive compared to earlier sections. Additionally, just like in previous games, the camera angles can be problematic. It’s not perfect, but it’s still a very enjoyable experience for action fans.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 12: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Good time! Combat was tighter, flashier, and slicker than the first three games. I liked the story a lot more too - there were a lot more characters, so the different motives they each had made the story feel much more interesting than "hey, someone else wants to open a gate to hell and I don't want them to." I really liked Nero's inclusion, and his fighting style was really cool - I loved the devil bringer mechanic and the ability to pull enemies right back to you after you hit them hard and sent them flying. Using the devil bringer to grab and pound enemies into the ground felt super satisfying too. One of my favorite parts of this game was there were a variety of different environments that you fought your way through. That was one of my issues with the first three games - you were just in a big cathedral or a big tower and that was where you stayed the whole game. This game featured some caves, icy plains, a rainforest, and then of course a big tower and a big cathedral. My issues with the game were fairly minor, but still important. First of all, the port isn't very good. I had to look up how to open the PC settings without the game crashing, the dash mechanic didn't work very well (especially if I was running towards the camera), and there were times that the game just crashed. Another gripe is the bosses weren't nearly as inspired or fun to fight as the bosses in DMC 3 (with the exception of the scientist guy where he throws the swords at you and you need to pick them up and throw em at the glass. That was sick.) A lot of the boss fights were reused way too much later in the game too... I fought the fire centaur thing 3 times. I'm all for a boss rush at the end of a game, but it doesn't work if you have to spend several missions near the end of the game backtracking and fighting all the same bosses again anyways. Overall, 8/10! The gameplay felt soooooo good even if I had some issues with the port/bosses.

游戏是好游戏,优化是真垃圾!!新买的电脑竟然玩不了,无限黑屏闪退!为了玩这个破游戏,还专门找了一台以前的老机子..真的是让人火大!
It’s not by any means as revolutionary as any of the other games in the series, but it’s still a great game that just couldn’t reach some standards set for it. The gameplay feels better than ever before and it establishes new characters that I liked just as much as the originals. I really don’t know how the reboot has higher reviews than this.
Genuinely, I don't even know where to begin with this game. First of all, it's a graphical improvement for the series, and we get to play as a different protagonist. But then, out of nowhere, Capcom decided to completely mess up the controller mapping. For example, I play on a PS5 controller, and 'X' is usually to pick something and 'Circle' is to go back. Capcom reversed this—why? No idea. The same goes for looking: if you want to look left to right, you have to use the joystick up and down as your left and right. That's the biggest turn-off for me, alongside the final boss. Just like someone said on Reddit, the boss is far worse than the whole of DMC2. Genuinely such a bad game in terms of controls, but it has the best combat in the whole series. So, get it if you want, but it's definitely a one-time play for me, and only get it on sale. I can't imagine anyone paying full price for this.
