Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 6.57/day in the week to Aug 24 → 10.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 12: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

It's faulty and kind of a mess. But it's still enjoyable to a point. Only recommended for diehards though, requires some very unorthodox methods to get S ranks consistently.
(Famous last words.) ___ [EN] I played the original Devil May Cry 4 back when it came out on the 360, and I remember liking it well enough, even if it didn't leave a huge impression on me. This year, I decided I wanted to revisit the series, starting with this Special Edition—specifically Vergil's campaign. I'm up to Mission 11, but I started feeling like it was dragging as early as Mission 6... Vergil feels great to control, but I don't know—the action is very repetitive, there's no narrative in these alternate campaigns, the platforming sections are unbearable, and certain enemies really spoil the fun. The missions take 10 to 15 minutes, but they feel like 30... And I realize there are 20 of them in total... I'll pick it up again later to try out Trish and Lady, but playing mission after mission without any real connective tissue makes it hard to stay engaged. To put it in perspective, I'm actually looking forward to revisiting DMC2 more than this... (Famous last words.)
really sad that this game was rushed, i feel like with the right amount of time they could've made this a great game. i liked it, but the enemies and backtracking really, reaally suck; the character's gameplays are very smooth and fun to play with though :) and nero is of course, a lovely character
best dmc game
Hot take but this game is better than dmc 3. The story isn't the best in the series but not the worst and the gameplay is really damn good. Took me like an hour to get used to Nero's playstyle but after upgrading him a bit he got easier to play as. Game runs smoothly too, you might need to change some of the screen settings when you first boot the game up but don't use the full screen option cus then you can't open any other tabs or else you have to restart the game.
I know capcom you trynna show us that jiggle physic
