LG
good game, could be better
Its ok. The game is almost an exact copy of the Cell phone version. Any discount would be worth a look. Maybe if they add alot more content, machine gun, nuke, or more complex structures. Make this an educational level tool to demonstrate structural integrity. Long story short if you are easily entertained by destruction then this is for you. This game is not comparable to TearDown.
I gotta admit, this game is actually decent. I like the destructive simulations, and they're pretty fun to play around with. Even though it is decent, there are a lot of glitches, unpolished/unfinished features, and for $20 you would expect a whole heck of a lot more than that. One of the worst examples of this is the 'Random' button, which gives you a random(most likely) user-generated structure rather than the preloaded ones. I fail to understand why I have to click for 5 consecutive minutes to find or sometimes not even find the map that I'm looking to play, and getting repeats 9/10 times instead of new maps. Why not add some kind of simple GUI to select the user-generated map that you want?? In addition, the player mode is quite glitchy and does not work like it should, and the fire mode does next to absolutely nothing. Overall, I'm giving this a 4/10 for a decent experience, but the lack of polish on much of anything would recommend you stay away from this game, unless you want to play it and return it after two hours.
bad
Video always speaks more than any amount of words, so here's my first look video on the game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x7HlW64IMFA It's fun little "game" (more of a simulator) where you can just break stuff for fun! Because it's always fun breaking things, but you can also build stuff and then knock it down! It also includes destructible ground. At this point it's quite limited, but still fun. You can use fire, water, fireworks, some weird "prototype" style spikes that come out of ground, cannon balls, dynamite, tornado and even a pink black hole. And ofcourse there are missiles and bombs! I suggest this to those who just want to see things break! Here's also my list of ideas that I'd like to see added: 1. Ability to re-map controls 2. Steam workshop support (so people can share their buildings) 3. Ability to copy / paste and save partial buildings and then use them. (good for making bigger things). 4. Different building blocks (bricks, cinder blocks, squares, triangles, pillars ..etc) 5. Symmetry mode for building. 6. Better sound effects (glass breaking, wood burning / crackling, realistic explosions, concrete rubble sounds ..etc) 7. Lightning tool (and some other tools) 8. Different stats for materials. for example concrete can take lot of weight, while metal can be used to hold up floors and glass should shatter when you throw a small ball or fireworks at it. 9. Painting option? Not sure if anyone cares for this, but it would be good for those who want to make videos (like me), so you can replicate a scene where you build more or less realistic building and then blow it to pieces! 10. Ability to use destructible ground in editor.
This game is super fun! I love destroying everything I can in the game, though if I had one complaint, in the trailer, it shows you can build your own landscape and explosions will destroy the buildings and the land itself, but i couldn't figure out how to do that so I'm assuming it isn't in the game yet, I hope it will be implemented into the game at some point. Either way, this game is super fun. 9/10
very cool game. very glitchy. do not spam rocket or TNT, ur device will freeze
It would be worth the price for about 2$, this is more of a concept than any sort of product. the tools for construction are incredibly basic. Blowing the stuff up is alright. If the dev ever decides to continue working on this to make it into an actual game i would be glad to make the review positive
