It's destruction time! Build, blow up, and destroy! In this world of realistic physics, you can smash castles with catapults, blow up buildings, shoot slingshots and throw objects, and watch buildings fall apart beautifully.

Its honestly just a glorified Unreal Engine 5 Chaos tech demo. It should be at max 5 dollars.
Cool little game. Will be keeping because it's a great concept just know it's not done yet. Graphics are not optimized but developer is currently working on it. Can't wait to see the final product.
The physics is good, but the game as a whole i found to be a bit unstable at times. During my playtime it crashed several times, even when no destruction was happening. Using many explosives can be tedious and annoying at times. Maybe if the game was more stable and if there was a way to either set setting on explosives before placing (like a preset) or a way to select multiple explosives at the same time to make the game more enjoyable. I have also encountered many physics bugs such as pieces of buildings (particularly the larger ones) ejecting themselves for no apparent reason, also pieces of debris seem to fall through the building.
if by some miracle you stumble upon this review, do note this game is completely abandoned. it's very shallow in content but still fun to see buildings crumple. but yeah, don't buy it outside of big discounts
This game is fun, and has potential to get even better. The way buildings can fall and knock off other pieces, or even cause other parts to start falling with it is so satisfying. I have yet to have any bugs, but I do have a few suggestions 1: Smooth Framerate Idk if it's possible with this game, but another game focused on Destruction, named "Instruments of Destruction", developed by the lead tech designer from Red Faction Guerrilla, has this. If you don't know what this is, i'll try to explain it with my little knowledge of it. When the framerate starts getting low, it will somehow make it look like the game's time scale has been slowed instead of stuttering, it basically just looks like slow motion. I think if it's possible, this game could use that VERY heavily. 2: Steam Workshop With the Steam Workshop, people would be able to build their own structures or smaller maps, upload them, and then others could subscribe to them and destroy them. This may help alleviate the lack of official maps and buildings in the game, and could create some fun buildings that may even make it into the game officially. 3: More weapons Having an explosive is fun and all, but being able to throw a heavy metal ball, or maybe shoot at buildings with a heavy machine gun or heavy sniper rifle would be fun. Then you would be able to have a bigger variety to how buildings collapse and break. Place a few C4 on one side, throw a few balls into the left side, and shoot away the middle for a unique collapse. Maybe even going along with the steam workshop suggestion, people might even be able to build their own weapons for others to use 4: Vehicles Nothing would scratch the itch to topple a building more than to be able to drive a vehicle of some kind into a building and see said vehicle get covered in rubble. This could be cars, planes, helicopters, semis, etc. And to maybe add onto the steam workshop even further, the ability to make your own would be even better. With all that being said, I give Destruction Time! an 8/10. Optimization could still be done, the lack of buildings and bigger maps could be made up for with a steam workshop, and there's currently 1 weapon to choose from.
This game is a BLAST! the only thing that needs to be fix is that there needs to be a turn off motion blur setting option.
game is abandoned with little to do I do not recommend it within the current state, even for only $2.99.
