Battle Bands: Rock & Roll Deckbuilder

This game is heavily slept on, especially for co-op. If you were a fan of Across the Obelisk or Hellcard, this is absolutely for you. Fingers cross that the devs stay active and have big plans. Would love a sort of "endless" mode where every combat makes the next boss slightly harder, or tweaks the world balancing in some way. Like with most roguelike deckbuilders, often times you're just finding your build entering the sweet spot you wanted it to be in, only for the campaign to end 1-2 rounds later. The devs definitely have the pacing dialed in here, and it keeps me coming back for more every time.

Keep coming back to this one when I get bored of other deckbuilders. There's also fun custom outfits, vehicles and instruments to boot! My only complaint is that my band Quincy and The Kittens will never be eligible for a Grammy award.

Let me start with the biggest drawback first: Almost nobody is currently playing this game, meaning that if you want to experience the co-op gameplay you'll need to drag one or two friends away from Pal World (or whatever is the new hotness on the Steam at the time you're reading this). That out of the way, I can still recommend this game just on the back of the single-player experience.

This game is so creative and fun to play with friends. I wish more people played it. I love it

Really love this game. It has it all: you can play with up to 4 friends for a great Coop PvE experiance where you level up like in Slay the Spire or play in the PVP mode against other Teams. The only downside is the low player count, but hope this will get better

A fun deck building game, that is all the more fun when played with friends. The music is catchy and while you might get your teeth kicked in early runs, as you increase your instrument level, which unlocks more potential cards to be obtained, then you'll find yourself starting to turn the tide against some rather varied ai bosses. If you don't have friends to play with, you can play solo with you choosing to also control the other instruments or letting the ai handle them. You can also quick join someone else's band who has their band up to public play. I've not yet played the game mode that has the chance of PvP band battles, however, my friends and I will be gracing that stage soon.
