Desktop Golf

Productivity killer. :-) This is a fun, super chill mini golf game that sits on your desktop (you can specify where and how big) and beckons you to play just one more hole while your work applications look on with jealousy.

A fun, chill desktop game. The courses start off simple and grow in complexity, trying to find new ways to cut corners (literally) and get a better score has been a blast! And the music, this is the hidden gem of this game. The music is absolutely wonderful. It's a game you can tell that a lot of care was put into. If your looking for a chill, fun little game, this is it!

They are all lying to you. Desktop Golf only LOOKS like a cozy fun game to have in the corner of your screen until you try to get hole in one on every level. I haven't slept for days, but I can't stop pressing restart. This is the closest I've felt to the struggle of Sisyphus. This game's a steal

This games works so perfectly overlaying your other windows or games. I can play this over top of an MMO while I have downtime, and it is so easy to play both without the need to jump back and forth between apps.

In a world overrun by live service garbage, Gatcha cash grabs, and multiplayer mess ups, Desktop Golf takes us back to a simpler time where games were made with the intention to give people a platform to enjoy and destress. The game itself is simple and intuitive, but with enough of a challenge where hitting that perfect hole in one will elicit a whoop or a fist in the air. There are currently a 100 levels to play, each with their own tricks and gimmicks, with scores being saved. The best part, all of these scores are only for you to know about. There are no leaderboards promising banal daily/weekly rewards. No trash talk from some elitist who only got his high score by using a bunch of hackware and loopholes. This game exists purely for you and only you. Is this a game that you launch to survive another boring meeting, or is it something you challenge yourself every day to get that one level below par? That is up to you, and you alone. Overall the gameplay is exactly what you'd expect from a golf game. No two levels play the same, and even playing the same level multiple times gives you different outcomes depending on your skill, meaning this game has nearly infinite replayability. The physics of the game are also near perfect, with no wonky bounces or unexpected glitches. The ball goes exactly where its meant to go, whether you intended for it to go there, is a different story though, but that's golf am i right? The UI of the game is very clean and minimal. Like the game name suggests, it literally launches directly on to your desktop in a small floating window that lets you play seamlessly without any extra effort. I've personally tested it out while working, watching youtube videos, and just general browsing, and there's been zero issues with just jumping in, hitting a few rounds, and jumping out again. The music is very pleasant and relaxing, if you get the chance to keep it on, but even if you can't its pretty simple to just toggle it off. Overall, this is one of those rare games, that can appeal to everyone, and for the small price of 3-4$ is an absolute steal! Desktop Golf is Desktop Gold. I would even go as far as to say, if this game came out a couple decades ago, Tiger Woods, would probably still be married, because he'd spend all of this spare time trying to get a hole in one on level 43, instead of ... well you know.

I really enjoyed playing this game! Pretty different and chill from other golf games out there. I just pop it on it the side and play it between task sessions. And the B/G score is just so nice and calming! 10/10 will recommend!

This game rules, though being able to have it just floating in a corner while you work is super dangerous. Controls are real simple and easy. Feels like a gem you'd find on the old internet. Nice way to take a couple minutes to get your head straight. Developers are too nice though. I got an "Excellent" after hitting the ball over the edge 6x on one hole

Just completed 3-stars on all 100 levels in one sitting. This game is a very pleasing experience to run through with challenging courses and clever level design. The gamer in me couldn't help but trying to figure out how to exploit the physics to get hole-in-one or two on most holes, and blasting ramps to skip hard corners is always a blast. I highly recommend this game!

Launches directly into the gameplay, has intuitive controls, relaxing music, and is easy to move around your screen. Doesn't interfere with what you're doing. Basically it does exactly what it says it does and is a nice little toy to play with while you work or study or whatever. It's nice and worth the few bucks!
