Short, simple, and fast. A top-down shooter stripped down to the essentials.

Honestly, it’s a decent little twin-stick shooter if you just want to turn your brain off and blast zombies for 15 minutes. The whole mechanic where you have to rely on your flashlight is kinda cool and adds some tension, but the gameplay loop gets old fast. Once the flashy neon colors wear off, you realize you're just doing the exact same thing on repeat. It’s not terrible, but it's nothing to write home about either.

Гра являє собою аркадний шутер з видом зверху: за задумом усе максимально просто, але завдяки динаміці та напрузі процес затягує. Геймплей дуже швидкий і місцями навіть нервовий. Тебе замикають на невеликій арені, оточеній пилами, причому пастки розкидані не тільки по краях — вони є й прямо на самій площадці. Fun little game where you shoot zombies in the dark. All weapons are fun. Each round is randomly generated so it doesn't get stale before you finish the game. Achievements aren't hard to get either. Don't expect anything outstanding from this game but you will have a pleasant 30 minutes if you end up buying it.

Reseña de Blackout Z: Slaughterhouse Edition Blackout Z: Slaughterhouse Edition es un shooter arcade de zombis que apuesta completamente por la acción rápida y directa. No intenta ofrecer una historia profunda ni mecánicas complejas, sino una experiencia simple enfocada en disparar enormes cantidades de enemigos y sobrevivir el mayor tiempo posible. El gameplay recuerda bastante a los shooters arcade clásicos. Los controles son sencillos y las partidas están llenas de hordas de zombis apareciendo constantemente desde todas direcciones. La acción rara vez se detiene y eso ayuda a mantener un ritmo bastante frenético. Uno de los puntos positivos es lo fácil que resulta entrar a jugar. No necesitas aprender sistemas complicados ni dedicar demasiadas horas para entender cómo funciona. Simplemente eliges armas, eliminas zombis y mejoras tu equipamiento. Visualmente el juego tiene un estilo modesto pero funcional. Los escenarios oscuros y llenos de sangre ayudan a crear una atmósfera arcade de terror bastante entretenida, aunque claramente no busca competir gráficamente con grandes producciones. La variedad de armas ayuda bastante a mantener la diversión. Escopetas, rifles automáticos y explosivos permiten enfrentar hordas enormes de enemigos de distintas maneras. Además, el sistema de progresión y mejoras entrega cierta sensación constante de avance mientras desbloqueas nuevo contenido. Sin embargo, el juego también tiene varias limitaciones. La repetición aparece rápidamente debido a la poca variedad de objetivos y escenarios. Después de varias partidas, la experiencia puede sentirse bastante similar una y otra vez. La inteligencia artificial de los enemigos es muy básica y algunos jugadores pueden encontrar el gameplay demasiado simple o repetitivo después de un tiempo. Aun así, Blackout Z: Slaughterhouse Edition puede resultar bastante entretenido para quienes disfrutan shooters arcade sencillos, acción rápida y eliminar hordas de zombis sin demasiadas complicaciones.
