About

Death Unphased is a challenging precision platformer where you phase through walls, spikes, and enemies with your dash. A short arcade-like experience with the goal of beating your fastest time in each level. Flex your puzzle-solving and speedrunning abilities as you forge the best path to the exit door.
Death doesn't scare you. It energizes you. Phase through anything that would normally kill you and gain an extra mid-air dash.
Experiment - there's always another solution, but it may not be obvious. Cut around the unphaseable acid spikes? Wall jump first for a good angle to chain together dashes? Reposition an enemy for an ideal route?
No hints. Just your brain, your controller, and the ability to phase dash. Will you rise to the challenge?

Phase dash - Walls and platforms can no longer stop you. Choose how to utilize your dash to make it to the end.
Dangerous speed - Phasing through an enemy or dangerous object grants you an extra mid-air dash. Chain together dashes to avoid death and blaze past barriers.
Tricky navigation - Disappearing dash platforms, hovering ghosts, directional push arrows, and more will lay between you and the exit. Observe, learn, and experiment. Think carefully how to maneuver through the levels.
Level timer - The timer saves the fastest time you've achieved on each level. There is no online leaderboard. The focus is on you to figure out the fastest route and improve on your best time!
Level ranks - Aim for the S, A, B, or C rank on a level based on completion time! Speedrunners can hunt for the S rank times or even the secret Z rank times.
Customization - Remappable controls (for controller and keyboard), screenshake disable, and shadow removal allow you to enjoy the experience your way.

Great precision platformer designed around speedrunning. Level design suits the main gimmick well, the Z ranks are sufficiently difficult and involve a higher level of execution and precision than the typical IL speedruns in platformers. Enjoyed this one, would recommend!
A fun dash platformer with a nice twist (being able to phase through walls and certain otherwise lethal objects) and plenty of gimmicks introduced throughout to make it enjoyable and fresh! The Z ranks for speedrunners will certainly extend my playtime, but otherwise a short game you can complete in just one session. Music and visuals were great too!
good game allow you to relief some stress
Press "Z" .... fml this is hard.... or am i just bad. very nice. worth my bucks.
Short but fun. If I decide to go for all S ranks I'm sure to spend a lot more time playing.
You have a Celeste dash, but it allows you to phase through obstacles. Fun little platformer with some interesting puzzles based around that main mechanic.
Whether you've got 5 minutes, or 5 hours, and enjoy precise, fast paced platforming with an emphasis on beating levels as quickly as possible, then this game is for you! The movement options this game gives the player are incredibly satisfying to use, and allows for some really unique strategies. Each level is crafted to provide a different challenge, making this game great for both puzzle platformer enthusiasts and speedrun enjoyers alike!
Death Unphased is a platformer similar to games like Celeste. I really liked the main mechanic of phasing through the walls and was pleasantly surprised by how many other interesting mechanics the game offers to compliment the phasing. It was clear to me that a lot of thought went into the level design and making sure that there are multiple paths to complete the levels. There is definitely a draw to the game where just finishing a level isn't good enough. You want to replay a level and see if you can figure out a different path and see if you can score a faster time which is a great thing. The game can be a bit difficult at times and I found some levels a bit confusing to complete. In these cases the levels played out more like a puzzle for you to figure out. I played about 2 hours of the game and had a good time overall. The art and music were enjoyable and for $5, if you're looking for something similar to a platformer like Celeste and don't mind a challenge, this game is a steal in my opinion!
Me gusto. tiene una muy buena dificultad, quiza pocos levels porque son pequeños y relativamente faciles de pasar, en menos de 2 hs ya se puede completar y encima con los logros al 100%
A charming, hidden gem of a platformer. I found it challenging, maybe because I don't play alot of these games, but rewarding. Most importantly the controls are very well fine-tuned, to a degree that is impressive for an indie dev! So when I die, at least I know it was my fault. If you're at all interested in platformers give it a try!
