the game started off as being so bad that its good. then eventually was just bad

I went into this game expecting a nice little Twin Peaks ripoff, what I got was a game didn't hide its inspirations but managed to make itself different from it in a lot of really nice touches. World building was fantastic, plotline surprisingly strong, characters living their own lives and reacting to weather, these really made the game stand out. Combat was easy, the most difficult and frustrating parts had to be QTEs (quite a few of them, regrettably) and trying to cruise through the bugfest around chapters 11-13. Regardless, this was an absolutely amazing, content-heavy package. If you end up taking it, just remember to back up your save after every chapter and if the game decides to freeze as soon as it starts in some chapters, disabling full-screen optimizations in Windows seems to be a remedy that gives just long enough window to get another save in and bypass the issue.

6/10 as a game, 10/10 as an experience.

the game has a lot of potential and i think its already good but only in the system it was released in, the port is awful

A shameful bunch of bugs, crashes and control issues. A true shame, beacuse the mood was great. Selling a technical disaster like this should be considered a fraud.

This is the worst PC port I've ever encountered. When it doesn't crush it stops recognizing the controller sticks. This should not be on Steam. Borderline fraud Somehow I was able to get to the chapter 25 and oh boy... The ending is worthy of the whole game. I loved jerking the left stick for 5 minutes two times because game crushed. And then the chapter 26 is just a black screen. That's all, nothing helps, only ending the Dp.exe process. After so much suffering can't even finish this god awful experience 🤣 Incredible
