In order to run the game somewhat stably, I had to: -- Install DPFix, and set DPFix.ini to forceWindowed 1 and borderlessFullscreen 1; -- Patch the executable with 4GbPatch (from NTCore); -- Set the main executable to "Run as Administrator" (and run the game directly from the executable, not from the launcher); -- Scum save all the time (game allows for only one saved file, and a few times that saved file led to a bricked game); -- Set sound in Control Panel to "Stereo" only (otherwise driving was impossible); -- Pretty much NOT run anything alongside the game. Even then, the game crashed very often... So: -- In order to play darts, I had to DISABLE DPFix (renaming a DLL file); -- In order to skip a crash in Chapter 9, I had to randomly smoke a cigarette (in game, mind you); -- In order to work around some other crashes, I had to set Compatibility mode to Windows XP or Windows 98 or some other nonsense -- the exact mode depended on the crash, Now, there is a very cool game behind all these annoyances, and I actually managed to finish it... But, as it is, I cannot recommend it.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is a great great great game but do not recommend spending money on this version of the game as it literally does not play. 9/10 though, solid experience!
This SUCKS its a 2013 Game but it has LOW graphics.... kinda reminds me of a 2003 game... the movements are GARBAGE
---{ Graphics }--- ☐ You forget what reality is ☐ Beautiful ☐ Good ☑ Decent ☐ Bad ☐ Don‘t look too long at it ☐ MS-DOS + honestly loved the style of (rare) CGI cutscenes - it is a game from 2010 but don't expect anything too special, if you don't use DPfix, the game will also run in 720p ---{ Gameplay }--- ☐ Very good ☐ Good ☑ It's just gameplay ☑ Mehh ☐ Watch paint dry instead ☐ Just don't + A LOT of side quests (50) + the main quest doesn't have any real time limit (afak), so you get enough free time inbetween the main quest to do side content + I kinda liked the design of "Shadows" (the most common enemies you'll fight), since they're not exactly zombies, and the animations + short-range teleportation can get a bit creepy +- one of the main gameplay parts (shooting) is simple but okay - while the keyboard/mouse controls aren't the worst, for some reason I can't completely aim up or down (it seems like while I play it in 1080p through DPfix, it still "simulates" 720p resolution) - annoying QTEs - driving is really arcady, be careful or else you can even accidentally die just by turning at high speed ---{ Audio }--- ☐ Eargasm ☐ Very good ☐ Good ☑ Not too bad ☐ Bad ☐ I'm now deaf +- the soundtrack is pretty okay, but just for this game. Don't think it'd really fit any other (horror) game ---{ Audience }--- ☐ Kids ☑ Teens ☑ Adults ☐ Grandma +- the game has some gore and partial nudity ---{ PC Requirements }--- ☐ Check if you can run paint ☑ Potato ☐ Decent ☐ Fast ☐ Rich boi ☐ Ask NASA if they have a spare computer + pretty low hardware requirments, FPS stay at 60 most of the time - while using DPfix and 4gb patch, I experienced some big FPS drops (around 25 FPS) in some forest areas ---{ Game Size }--- ☐ Floppy Disk ☑ Old Fashioned ☐ Workable ☐ Big ☐ Will eat 15% of your 1TB hard rive ☐ You will want an enitre hard drive to hold it + the game takes 6.6gb ---{ Difficulty }--- ☐ Just press 'W' ☐ Easy ☑ Medium ☐ Easy to learn / Hard to master ☐ Significant brain usage ☐ Difficult ☐ Dark Souls +- don't think it's exactly hard in difficulty itself - enemy AI is pretty dumb, but some of the QTEs and some of the bosses (with mouse) can get annoying ---{ Grind }--- ☐ Nothing to grind ☐ Only if u care about leaderboards/ranks ☑ Isn't necessary to progress ☐ Average grind level ☐ Too much grind ☐ You'll need a second live for grinding + nothing to grind except side quests and trading cards ---{ Story }--- ☐ No Story ☐ Some lore ☑ Bizarre ☐ Average ☐ Good ☐ Lovely ☐ It'll replace your life +- I did kinda like the beginning of the game, but then it just kinda flopped +- the story is quite....bizzare, not sure what to tell about it. It feels like a combination of something that takes itself way too seriously, and something similar to a parody ---{ Game Time }--- ☐ Long enough for a cup of coffee ☐ Short ☑ Average ☐ Long ☐ To infinity and beyond + took me a bit under 20 hours to finish the game and most side quests ---{ Price }--- ☐ It's free! ☐ Worth the price ☑ If it's on sale ☑ If u have some spare money left ☐ Not recommended ☐ You could also just burn your money +- not really worth the 25€, but you can get it on sale for around 1-2€ ---{ Bugs }--- ☐ Never heard of ☐ Minor bugs ☑ Can get annoying ☐ ARK: Survival Evolved ☐ The game itself is a big terrarium for bugs + runs smoothly on 60 FPS +- I recommend turning on auto-save - it saves your game right after finishing a chapter, which can be pretty helpful since I experienced crashes after finishing some chapters - SAVE OFTEN, there's basically only manual save, so if your game crashes, you'll lose progress - game froze when I tried opening the side missions tab - fix: starting the game (DP.exe in the game's file) in compatibility mode Windows XP pack 3 ---{ 2-5 / 10 }--- ☐ 1 ☑ 2 - Second half of the game ☐ 3 ☐ 4 ☑ 5 - First half of the game ☐ 6 ☐ 7 ☐ 8 ☐ 9 ☐ 10 Long story short, it's a very bizarre horror/action adventure game that felt like something inbetween Resident Evil (main quest) and Yakuza (side content). First half of the game actually felt quite nice, but second half felt like ass. I wish that Steam added a third "meh" option for reviews.
All bad reviews are skill issues.
It's like twin peaks.
