Interesting concept, but combat is too simplistic for my taste.

Thought I had a good run going. Got boots to move more spaces. Got 7 health, got epic shield reducing incoming damage by 1, and epic sniper rifle. First shot the 2nd act boss. Feeling really good about the run. Start the 3rd act, start a battle. Push an enemy off the edge. Move to a SAFE space. NO indicators I am going to take damage or in a danger area. Within its same turn, an enemy proceeds to move closer and stuns me for 2 turns. All other enemies proceed to bomb the crap out of where I am, and I half die and have 2 bleeds. Use my turn to avoid aoe and move to a SAFE square. Repeat enemy moving closer and stunning me on same turn. Die while stunned. Absolutely most disgusting experience I have had in a game in a long time.

Отличный аналог into the breach в дизельпанк вселенной. Очень хорошо, определенно рекомендую

他のレビューでも言われているとおり本作はInto the Breach系なのだが、一つ、大きな不満点がある。 Into the Breach系は敵の攻撃予告（赤マス）を掻い潜りつつ反撃をするのが肝であり、敵の攻撃を完全に回避しつつ敵に一撃を叩き込むのがゲームのおもしろさだと思うのだが、本作はステージ３になると攻撃予告をしない敵が出て来るようになる。敵のターンになると、（普通のTRPGのように）プレイヤーユニットに近寄って、そのまま普通に攻撃してくるのである。そういった攻撃は当然回避不可能。ちなみに、プレイヤーユニットのHPは通常１～３くらいしかないのに対して敵の攻撃力は２～３くらいあるので、攻撃を喰らえば、アーマー付与などの対策を取っていないと即死する。 これはInto the Breachの醍醐味を完全に否定するものであり、難易度の上げ方としては間違っていると思う。
