One of the best point and click adventures ever made. Classic cartoon joke-writing, silly puzzles, and enough twists and turns to keep it interesting to the end. And bonus: OG Maniac Mansion is playable within it, so it's 2 games in 1.
Absolute gem of an point & click , and an all time classic , loved it! If you enjoy old school point & clicks with great humor then I highly recommend this one!
C’est un jeu magnifique. J’adore l’humour, le graphisme et les personnages. J’avais joué à ce jeu quand j’étais adolescent, il y a presque 30 ans, et en y rejouant, j’ai eu l’impression de revivre les belles années 90. Je l’apprécie même encore davantage aujourd’hui. [h1]Day of the Tentacle Remastered — 10/10[/h1] [b]An absolute point & click classic — and still one of the funniest adventure games ever made.[/b] Day of the Tentacle is one of those games that immediately takes me back to the golden age of LucasArts in the 90s. The crazy characters, the cartoon graphics, the absurd humor and especially the brilliant puzzles involving three characters in three different time periods are still fantastic today. The whole idea of changing something in the past so that it affects the future is incredibly clever, and some of those puzzles are permanently burned into my memory. [b]What I loved:[/b] • Brilliant time-travel puzzle design • Three characters interacting across different eras • Fantastic LucasArts humor • Completely ridiculous and memorable characters • Wonderful cartoon style • Some of the most creative puzzles in point & click history • Excellent remastered graphics, sound and interface • Instant switching between the original and remastered version Double Fine did exactly what a remaster of a classic should do: [b]improve the presentation without destroying what made the original special.[/b] And considering Tim Schafer was already one of the creative minds behind the original, it feels especially fitting that Double Fine brought it back so carefully. More than 30 years later, Day of the Tentacle is still funny, clever and incredibly charming. [b]10/10 — a timeless LucasArts masterpiece and one of the games that defines the point & click genre for me.[/b]
