LEGO® Party!

I'm crazy surprised how underrated and unknown this game is. These guys need more advertising budget.

Honestly, Mario Party wishes it had this same energy and creativity these days. With how they chose to add the bonus bricks, I'm very excited to see what's coming up for this game.

Lego Kart needs to happen as soon as possible.

This game caused a mass schizophrenic episode for myself and my family members all because the themepark map had the option to build penguin land and i didn't do it. For weeks we thought all our bad luck and misfortunes all came from the fact we didn't build the penguin zone. Needs more maps but good game.

Hot take: its better than mario party

Super fun game! Easy to start up on the Steam Deck, and I love that there's unlockable content for the minifigures - really gives it a lot of replayability! Mario Party is fun, but as someone who doesn't have Nintendo money, this is even BETTER The boards are all fun with a lot of different ways to play, but I hope they release more boards in the future!

Currently One of the best Mario Party clones out there and I would place this number one depending on what you look for in a game. I'll start with this if you want the most content community wise Pumble Party outbeats this. But if you're looking for a very dynamic experience with the base maps This is the best out there Each time you play a map you can choose to alter it and build differe parts of the park or map This is something that Mario Party and Pumble Party and other party games do not offer and is kind of mid 2020s technology that has been also implemented in cross worlds through mid game you can change up the match of the playing field. The game is also very generous with a free Battle Pass style unlockable content Me and a few friends are still playing this after months and we have still not unlocked everything We're getting close but there's so much to unlock in terms of minifigs. As for game bugs and stuff We have had issues over the months of updates It's gotten worse but not too terrible The space map had a bug where you do a slow roller and the number you would pick would end up by 3 or 4 it was not accurate usually when the cat shuttle comes on and then the ninja map we've had games that flat out crashed towards the end leaving us with no progression reward for playing the match. But the pirate map and the Fun park map have been solid. I will also add that the mini games were a little easier at launch but they've made them harder now More bouncy and a bit more lag compensation that was added. But all through that it's still very fun Me and my friends are looking forward to future DLC if they decide to add it we're buying it on the spot Ultimately workshop would be the ultimate superpower for a game to survive over the years Hopefully that comes But if not I'm still happy and content what they given us so far and if they decide to make LEGO Party 2 Even better.

Doesn't support ultrawide, but it's really quite fun so far. The minifig customisation is a super fitting and fun feature, though I can't help wishing it was (even) more expansive. Love the voting mechanics for minigames and bonus gold bricks.

LEGO Party is an excellent Mario Party-like game. There have been some differences, which greatly appeal to me, such as the "Democratic style" voting system for both mini games and bonus stars. Mini game winners also get to go first in the round, so it gives the chance to subvert someone from getting a golden brick ahead of you if you can beat them in the mini game. It also has lots of events to give a chance to get ahead of another player, though this can cause one player to get much further ahead than the rest. Challenge spots offer team games that give both the winners of the team a golden brick as well, so it can throw off a player who's been doing really well at getting the brick spots on the map. The Mini games are diverse but easy to pick up. The rounds are snappy. And the minifigure customizability leaves every player happy. There's also Player XP to unlock more minifigures in a "battlepass" sort of way, without buying the pass. It also has Map XP, so you can unlock more minigures like the map you got the experience from. You also get Carrots, which allow you to unlock minifigures from the shop. I greatly appreciated how FAST the rounds felt. I also appreciated that the game supports Steam Share very easily, and even though we were using different kinds of controllers (Me a Dualshock 4 and my friend an XBox equivalent) the game kept track and the buttons were for the correct controller type. You like Mario Party? Get LEGO Party. It's just as good, if not better.
