LEGO® Party!

I did not enjoy this game because it is not what I expected. Many of the reviews compare this game to mario party, ( they are not wrong) but I find that rather misleading. The game is like a mario party blitz with the 'recommended' game lasting 6 turns (mario party being somewhere from 20-35), the board being relatively small, and the game handing out stars and coins like there is no tomorrow. I muted the announcers within 5 minutes, they become very annoying. The minigames were simple and fun though, and the custom characters were a nice touch.

I'm crazy surprised how underrated and unknown this game is. These guys need more advertising budget.

Honestly? This is on par with the best Mario Party game, if not BETTER. Highly customizable, allowing you to alter the gameboard in multiple ways per single playthrough, but also in how many turns your session lasts, and how many bonus "bricks" are awarded at the end of a game. This ♥♥♥♥ can swing harder than a bisexual, empty-nester couple, and it rules.

Honestly, Mario Party wishes it had this same energy and creativity these days. With how they chose to add the bonus bricks, I'm very excited to see what's coming up for this game.

I’m very impressed with how unique the minigames in this title are to other party games, with every new one I play I’m seriously impressed with how well the designers have adapted the LEGO system to said minigames, even minigames that you might have seen before in other titles will get a LEGO twist that makes them fit better thematically. The one thing I’d want to see for this game is just 1 more party board so that the game sits at 5, just for the extra replayabillity but otherwise I fully recommend this standout title as someone who has played many party games. (also pls add Chase McCain if possible)

There is a major issue with this game, mainly the fact this game doesn't come with a friend pass as its expensive as it is.

Wonderful family game! The puzzles are varied and enjoyable for even younger kids, but the game keeps a decent balance so it stays fun. I'm really hoping we get some batman dlc.
