I want Nash
DashBored's music and pixel art is really charming and the overall gameplay is pretty easy to understand. The characters and overall design of many things were really cool, the dialogue was also really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ funny. It does take a good couple of playthroughs to get the full story and endings, but even so that just adds to the replayability. I really loved this game a lot and was glad I was able to finally take the time and sit down to enjoy it. Thank you Karbonic for these amazing games and I hope to enjoy more soon.
This might be my personal favorite indie RPG to date. (Subject to change if NashBored is even better for me) It has some problems, it's easy, sometimes a little cryptic, the art can look a bit weird at times. But at the end of the day I found this way more fun and entertaining than any other rpg game I've played, a lot due to the characters. I wouldn't expect everyone to think it as good as I do, I've played Undertale, Deltarune, Omori, Octopath, even Earthbound. But even with those games under my belt I still enjoy this one more, even if it has more glaring flaws then those popular ones. There is great value to have in this game in both the story and the gameplay, and it sure is worth your time. It took me about 7.5 hours to finish my first playthrough so the game is well worth the cost. I am going on an insane rant, but I adore this game. Nash my beloved.
Just an overall enjoyable time, definitely some RPGmaker jank here and there but any issues are lessened by the great cast of characters here. A lot of things to find and see in the world of the Garden, it's the guy who made Psychopomp, and you can easily see the roots of the ideas and visuals from Psychopomp start to form in Dashbored. The game's sense of dry and sometimes sarcastic humor is quite fun at times, and I found myself getting attached to these characters before I even knew it. The World of "The Garden" is a nasty but homely place full of freaks and losers like the main character, Nic. But throughout his adventure he gets to open up to unlikely friends and foes. And this'll be expanded even more in the sequel that's being worked on! Karbonic has a vision and that vision rules, give DashBored a shot.
The game has kind of a slow start or at least to me it took a while to get warmed up to it I originally dropped it and went on to do other things. But I came back and I am glad I did, this game is fantastic. There's a lot of funny dialog hidden around the world and the characters are all interesting. it's also got a pretty good soundtrack and the dev came back after the game being out for roughly 9 years to release updates to the game.
Czyli fabułą i postaciami?
