DarkSpar is like an 8 bit RPG that mostly plays itself. All of the classic grinding and leveling of an 8-bit RPG without having to mash the attack button 10,000 times. We have skill trees, base building, and item crafting elements, too. Check out the free demo for 30% of the games content.

A one hour game stretched out to a 30+ hour wait fest. I love the concept, fantasy post apocalyptic, rebuild with a few heroes. But the execution is completely underwhelming. My direct interaction with the game is less than an hour. The rest of the time it's waiting for rare drops or for buildings to finish taking literally hours to complete for no reason other than to stretch it out, and this is on the medium speed difficulty as allowed by the achievements. You won't get any enjoyment out of the game for the dollar value.
this game is basically the amount of interaction I want to have with a game while it's going. I just pick a task and they do it and i don't worry too hard about the choices i'm making. We're all in this together. Lots of fun, have not seen all the character portraits yet I don't think.
I liked this game quite a bit. I have not played a ton of idle games, and the ones I have played have been more of the "clicker" variety, e.g. Cooke Clicker, Kittens Game, etc. I like not having to click but making steady progress. The developer is very quick and responding to issues and a ton of updates have been released even since I have beaten it.
A surprisingly deep auto battler/idler/grinder. I happily maxed it out and enjoyed my time doing so.
Loved it!! Pls make more games you are very talented!! =)
I enjoy this game at the end of the day. I would approach it like an idle game keep it minimized and let it do it's thing, it's not intensive. Save periodically though! I save once a day. My only complaint would be arrow fighting is the same damage, but is limited with ammo, even with the "ammo isn't used" ability, forget the name offhand, its' just better to melee (in that case a speed built character can dual weild daggers, and there's always respeccing.) It's worth 6$. Not groundbreaking, but also fairly straight forward, I like the retro graphics, character creation, I like that there's NO gender selection (there's portraits for all the Kings, Queens and Cool Beans. Most games have this, but I feel it's worth mentioning) And I Like that all characters have access to all skill trees, it really can make for some neat combos but I would only do two of three at most. I give it a 7/10.
Sadly, this game is just empty. There's just not much to do or care about in the game, very little flavor and little to no choice other than picking the initial character classes and what to build or research first. There are many better idle games out there to choose from.
Its alright, this should have a price tag for the quantity of content it currently has. It also has some questionable design choices like 3 speed mode options at the beginning, those should be prestige mechanics. Also, while playing it at the fastest speed option, because who would choose a slower speed option in an idle, and it for the most part seems to be what the base speed should be. Problem with this is, its designed around being slower so the faster speed option kind of breaks some balance issues and makes the pace weird. Lots of very strange design choices. It has potential but with its current rating, it probably wont get there. Hard to give this a thumbs up. . Thing is, it has a good skeleton.
Como el Melvor Idle. Me encantan estos juegos. :)
Very chill old-school idle RPG game. Fantastic for running in the background while you are working on that report you have to write. Runs smoothly on current MacOS, which is a plus.
