Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.57/day in the week to Aug 8 → 3/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The Game is just, "okay"? Combat gets pretty repetitive pretty quickly. I highly dislike the dash "locking" your movement inputs until the full animation is finished which results in a janky feeling after dashing. The game also has platforming but the game isn't built for it whatsoever, it becomes more of an annoyance then anything. It isn't bad by any means but it's not great either, grab it on sale if you're thinking of getting.
This game feels like Mario and Darksiders had a baby, as you’re constantly collecting coins, souls, and keys while solving puzzles. Co-op was fun, and being able to swap between characters is nice. Strife uses a lot of modern language and cosplays Cayde-6 from Destiny. The camera can be awkward at times, and enemy variety is fairly limited. I'd recommend it only on sale.

This is a fun game, especially if you are playing co-op. There is local co-op splitscreen as well, which I greatly appreciate, and you can do everything with another player. While the game does have a top down camera, the combat and everything feels more akin to hack and slash (e.g., God of War 1-3) with Metroidvania elements thrown in as well, which adds some replayability. There are some glaring flaws. The camera can be horrendous. If you're fighting a boss in a corner, good luck. The platforming, specifically the climbing, is absolutely terrible. Also, I experienced a few crashes, but I think I resolved this issue by switching from borderless windowed to fullscreen. Overall, this is a recommendation for me. Despite its flaws, it's a ton of fun, especially with a plus one. I got it for 5 USD on sale, so no regrets from me.
Genesis plays like the rest of the series with the main difference being the top-down camera view. It's an overall fun experience whether you're new or a fan of the series. Did Genesis need to exist? Honestly, I don't think so. It doesn't add anything to the series lore except for the very end of the game.
Wanted to like this game as I'm a fan of the series but this game is just annoying. The camera is just ♥♥♥♥ and feels like its done on purpose. Platforming is more about fighting the stupid camera and being fooled by its perspective and then being forced to start all over than anything. The puzzles are often deliberately grindy and not skills based. For example having to run back and forth across the whole map to grab an object needed for a puzzle only for it to go wrong because again the camera perspective doesn't allow you to see far enough to correctly complete the puzzle. Its like the developers realized the game isn't challenging enough so they insert BS mechanics just to make it "challenging"...just poor design
Great game, worthy of the franchise. Different camera view first irritates a bit, but then you get used to it, and it has all the things that makes Darksiders great. Items, quite tricky puzzles sometimes, cool cores which you can lv up to improve stats, and many good chapters. Vulgrim, Samael, Arena... all there. Made we replay the 1st Warsiders game as I wanted more! 9/10.
What actually surprises me is how different each Darksiders game are, not just by what character you play, but because how each entry is a different genre. The first game is a stylish action game, the third is a soulslike and Genesis is a top down action game with metroidvania elements, I had a lot of fun exploring the world and returning to earlier locations to explore with new abilities, I liked the core system that gives not only stat upgrades but also grants us with passive skills that also shape the gameplay and how you play The story of the two brothers is really compelling, watching them argue, fight, reconcile and come to understand each other is genuinely beautiful and the ending made me sad I'd even say that Genesis has the best ending in the entire series. Strife became my favorite character in the franchise. I not only enjoyed his playstyle, with its wide variety of ammo types that encouraged me to constantly experiment, but you will do that anyway because the different ammo types are genuinely useful, each one shines in different situations and against different enemies but I also really loved Strife's quirky and humorous nature, despite his constant jokes he has his own story which adds amount of depth to his character Very excited about the fourth game and I hope Strife will make return as the mc
