Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 22 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Darkness Under My Bed Darkness Under My Bed

Original creepy horror game with interesting gameplay and story. For me, it got extremely repetitive after the 2 hour mark so I kind of gave up on it. It kept me entertained for the 2 hours however and the game is priced right. I would still recommend the game for its originality and environments. 7/10.
This game is amazing. The atmosphere and play style are so unique, there's lots of secrets to find, and there's elements of a dark story behind all the events of the game that you can try and piece together however you like. Actually finishing the game with the true ending is incredibly difficult, so you should expect to get stuck many times, but it's so satisfying when it's over. Achievement hunting will be a pain if you don't know what you're getting into, so if you're interested, you should look up walkthroughs for how to get the achievements so you can optimize your gameplay. Some of the puzzles are quite complicated. Remember that there's no shame in looking for help, and enjoy this game as much as you can! It's a one of a kind experience. Maybe don't play the game if you're terrified of dolls, though, or it'll haunt your dreams forever...
Darkness Under My Bed is an unconventional psychological horror adventure that turns one of childhood’s simplest fears into the foundation for a surprisingly elaborate nightmare. Developed and published by Desert Fox, it centers on the frightening idea that the darkness beneath a child’s bed is not merely imagination. The premise involves a boy who created a cardboard labyrinth under his bed as a place to contain the monsters that haunted him. Over time, these creatures supposedly stole toys, souvenirs, memories, and eventually something far more precious. The player is sent into this bizarre domain to investigate what happened and recover what remains. The game immediately distinguishes itself through the way exploration works. Instead of controlling a conventional horror protagonist walking through the environment, the player operates a small remote-controlled robot equipped with a light. Sending this machine through cramped passages provides an unusual sense of separation from danger without eliminating vulnerability. The robot may be mechanical, but every unexplored corridor still creates uncertainty. Limited visibility makes seemingly harmless spaces threatening, while the handmade construction of the labyrinth produces the uncomfortable impression of exploring something created from childhood imagination that has somehow developed a life of its own. Progression revolves around a collection of relatively short missions involving exploration, discovery, documentation, and the recovery of lost possessions and memories. The structure is not excessively linear, and much of the labyrinth can be investigated without following one rigid sequence. This encourages experimentation and makes curiosity an important part of the experience. Hidden locations and optional discoveries provide reasons to inspect suspicious corners rather than simply moving toward an obvious objective. Players who enjoy uncovering secrets are likely to get considerably more from the game than those interested only in reaching the ending. One of its most distinctive qualities is its visual presentation. Environments and objects make extensive use of carefully prepared photographic material, producing an unusual combination of realistic textures and surreal compositions. Cardboard, toys, household objects, mechanical pieces, and disturbing imagery can exist together without looking like a typical computer-generated horror environment. The result has an almost handcrafted quality. Ordinary materials remain recognizable enough to feel familiar, yet their placement inside the maze gradually makes them disturbing. This contrast between childhood objects and mature horror imagery becomes a major part of the game's identity. Its minimalist mechanics also work in favor of the atmosphere. Darkness Under My Bed does not require a complicated collection of combat systems to create tension. Observation, navigation, interaction, and careful investigation are more important. The relatively simple controls leave the player's attention focused on what might be concealed in the environment. This approach can make the experience feel slow for players accustomed to action-oriented horror, but the restrained design is deliberate. Suspense develops from uncertainty and anticipation rather than an endless sequence of enemies. Audio contributes significantly to that effect. Ambient noises and isolated sound effects frequently carry more importance than constant dramatic music. Quiet moments create opportunities for imagination to take control, particularly when the player is staring down a narrow passage illuminated by the robot's limited light. Small changes in the soundscape can become unnerving because their source is not always immediately visible. The game understands that anticipation can be more effective than continuously revealing the threat. Beneath the physical exploration is a darker psychological narrative concerning childhood trauma, memory, fear, guilt, and loss. The objects scattered throughout the labyrinth are therefore more than ordinary collectibles. Recovering toys, souvenirs, and memories gradually feels like reconstructing pieces of a damaged past. The monsters can likewise be interpreted as more than literal creatures, giving the player room to consider what different locations and encounters represent. The storytelling often favors implication over direct explanation, which complements the surreal nature of the setting but may frustrate anyone who prefers completely straightforward narratives. Despite the childhood imagery, this should not be mistaken for light horror. The game contains disturbing material, including graphic violence, gore, strong language, abduction-related themes, and other mature subject matter. Some imagery can appear particularly uncomfortable because of the photographic presentation. That combination of innocence and brutality is intentionally unsettling, reinforcing the idea that the labyrinth represents something much darker than an ordinary childhood fantasy. Replay value comes primarily from exploration and completion rather than radically different gameplay styles. With numerous achievements and secrets to discover, players can return to investigate locations they previously missed. The flexible mission structure also helps because discoveries are not always encountered in precisely the same sequence. Completionists who enjoy examining every detail should find more longevity here than players who simply follow the essential objectives. Steam Deck compatibility is less straightforward. Darkness Under My Bed does not have an official Steam Deck Verified or Playable designation, so it should be regarded as officially unverified rather than guaranteed for Valve's handheld. The game was designed primarily around Windows PC use, and prospective Steam Deck players should expect that Proton compatibility, controls, interface behavior, or other technical details may require experimentation. Its relatively unusual control and presentation style also means that playing successfully through Proton does not automatically guarantee an experience as convenient as a game specifically optimized for Steam Deck. For anyone purchasing specifically for handheld play, the absence of an official compatibility rating is worth considering. Overall, Darkness Under My Bed succeeds by committing completely to its unusual concept. It combines photographic environments, minimalist interaction, disturbing symbolism, exploration, childhood memories, and psychological horror into something noticeably different from mainstream genre releases. Its deliberate pacing and abstract storytelling will not appeal equally to everyone, but players who appreciate experimental indie horror can find a remarkably atmospheric journey hidden inside its cardboard corridors. The experience is most effective when approached patiently, with attention given to environmental details and the meaning behind seemingly ordinary objects. Rating: 8/10
i dont know WHAT kind of nightfuel was pumped into this game but it truly is the definition of dark - please give it a try, it wont disappoint!
Definitely a hidden gem! This game has so much creativity and feels unique in a way that very few games do. There are secrets everywhere, and it always feels like there is something new waiting to be discovered. If you enjoy puzzle and exploration games, you are going to love this. I cannot recommend it enough. genuinely a masterpiece.
This is an amazing experience. Not like anything you have played before. The multiple layers of game play are so well constructed and connected. I had an amazing adventure as well as a terrifying one. I played this game only in the daytime and with the lights on. No real world shadows for me.
+1
Love the atmosphere. Casual and moody. There's 45 achievements and barely anyone has gotten any of them. Makes me wonder how much there is in the game to do. Hoping the dev(s) will fix the fullscreen issue. The game freaks out and forcefully goes windowed
