Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Latest in each market: best RU #91, worst PL #100 · 2 markets collected
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 7.71/day in the week to Aug 19 → 13.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

New Game Mode - Kingdoms - Now Playable!
“This squalid Kingdom, these corrupted lands, they are yours now, and you are bound to them.”
Kingdoms is an entirely new stand-alone strategic campaign game mode available to play now in Darkest Dungeon II.

Featuring a completely reimagined game structure, Kingdoms is a parallel game experience to the Confessions core game mode. You will be challenged to defend a crumbling realm against incursion from all new enemy factions.
Manage a persistent roster of heroes, gather resources, and pursue an epic questline in order to track down and defeat the source of evil before all is lost.

Progress in each game mode is tracked separately, and you can freely switch back and forth between active sessions of either.
Kingdoms is being released in thematic modules, each focusing on a different enemy threat. All three adventure modules - “Hunger of the Beast Clan”, “Secrets of the Coven”, and “Curse of the Court”- are available now!

Gather your courage and ride out into the chaos of a world undone.
Four heroes and a stagecoach are all that stand between darkness and salvation.

According to Steam, I have poured 63 hours into this game, all of which I have spent fighting to find the good in this game, and at this point, playing it has just become an obligation to try and unlock everything through the mind-numbing gacha system. I've now started the Kingdoms game mode included in the game, hoping it might have enough good to outweigh the bad, but as I begin and am assailed by countless hint popups for things I already grew all too familiar with in my numerous hours with the base game, I don't have much hope. A poor follow-up to the fantastic, original Darkest Dungeon.
A friend of mine gifted a code of this game to me after he received an activation code from BHVR after the DBD x Darkest Dungeon collab. It's a challenging game, and actually frustratingly so, however it is still rather fun. The balance honestly feels like it needs a LOT of tweaking but it's not to the point where it stops me from enjoying the game. A good amount to learn, a ton of things to pay attention to while playing. Good stuff.

This isn't Darkest Dungeon 1 and that is cool. This game is horribly addictive and beautifully maddening. I love playing it and seeing all the beautiful art and animations, and crying over a party I named Eenie Meenie Miney and Moe dying horribly. It's fun to see this setting explored in a different game style. I am having a good time whittling away at it. This gameplay won't be for everyone and that is alright, lucky for us there are two different darkest dungeon games and we can find joys in either one or both.
This game is infuriating - I played DD #1 and enjoyed it. I have no idea what is going on in this sequel - I keep dying without reaching any real goal. I've killed a boss now and seemingly gained nothing. I am unsure of what to do - Getting some enemies or even bosses down to 0 and then having them at deaths door for 3 min while they pummel you and you await a turn in which you don't miss - that is infuriating. Why do this to players? - Why are the heals so restrictive? I am unhitching from this terrible wagon
Entras, todo es diferente, nuevo... Luego te meten un critico turno uno. Recomendadisimo.
Just sunk 100 hours into DD1 and finished stygian, very excited to try DD2 but this is not it. Feels like a spinoff game that was made for mobile. No dungeons or exploring, instead it's just a stagecoach that goes up on your screen where you swipe left or right to choose which fork in the road to take. Fighting isn't satisfying at the beginning either. Instead of giving detailed descriptions of each skill, we now have a lot of symbols replacing status effects in the descriptions, many old and new. E.g. No longer are we told the accuracy, base effect %, or get Blight for 3 pts/dmg per rd spelled out etc, it's just a green symbol with numbers next to it. Not sure how else to put it, but feels like I'm playing a mobile game that isn't the most terrible thing in the world, but would probably be canned after a year.
like every sequel ever made, it does things worse than the first, but it also does things better than the first. This game was kinda terrible in early access, but they reworked a LOT if not ALL the nuances and ridiculous things they added. I think this one is fun. Nowhere near as bad as what people say, it's just they took a huge step away with what made DD1 so good. But i think they didn't go in a wrong direction, i think this game is great.
get不到相对于一代的两点,但绝对不是差游戏,卓越的美术风格尤其是亮点 7/10
