Darkest Descent

has anyone seen this? i haven't, what is it? its a roguelike game where you darkest descend interesting, is it good? i would say so is it worth the price? i would say so neat, ill have to check it out yeah, the multiplayer is where it really shines

As of writing this I've only played solo so far, and I feel online is the intended way of playing this game The visuals are very good from the art to the effects, however the game play for me is extremely repetitive and slighty punishing. My first run as Mage devolved into spamming guard as no enemy could out damage the heal with the damage reduction then saving up for a big cost skill and repeating. I feel like the game would benefit from the player seeing enemy hp to better allow them to plan and not have to turtle, as when not guarding you'd lose a good chunk of your hp.

Great concept for a game that I'm excited to see expanded out. For 5 dollars, there's already enough of a fun gameplay loop there to get a good amount of enjoyment out of.

Solo mode doesn't have a save anywhere, I get 3 dungeons in and need to put the game down and find out I have to restart now. Kinda irritating when the point of the game seems to be getting stronger every floor and building up the character. PS this one is a more minor nitpick but let online have a mode where randoms can play together too. Needing to be someone I know/communicate with prior AND the game doesnt save makes this mode a pain too.

Banger game, needs some QoL, fun with a friend and really cheap. Game gets lots of love though!

Pretty cool game, i really like how everything looks In this state it gets repetitive pretty quickly but I like how everything is so far and i am very interested in its future to see how it'll evolve :> Ive only tried playing in solo so far but i plan on trying the multiplayer soon enough
