Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 10 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Smooth, responsive and strategic combat mechanics. Think critically and make tactical decisions to ensure your success. Learn your enemies attack patterns and know when to dodge out of the way, when to parry, when to use your ultimate ability and when to strike back. Create your build as you play according to your playstyle: be a master of the elements or go all-in on pure physical damage. Be a speed demon dodging and evading enemies poking them from range with spears, or a slow berserker delivering devastating blows with massive axes.
Almost limitless combinations of weapons in terms of looks and stats. Choose from a wide variety of two-handed swords, fast spears to keep your enemies at range or slow but devastating axes. Each run is unique and you never know what upgrades or weapons you will get as drops from monsters and for completing stages. Adapt and strategize to playthroughs that are never the same.
Unlock new classes as you progress, each with its unique talent trees and game-changing effects. Choose carefully, as you can only pick one upgrade each stage from a selection of 3 randomly presented options. Be a fire mage destroying everything in your path with massive AOEs, burning damage and multiple projectiles. Or master lightning, shocking your enemies making them vulnerable to your melee attacks. Or take advantage of frost and cold, whizzing in and out of combat applying chill and freeze effects slowing your enemies in their tracks.
Hack and slash enemies in beautifully hand-crafted locations with randomized layouts on each run. Explore dark dungeons filled with aggressive skeletons, abandoned medieval villages, derelict cathedral libraries and courtyards, or gloomy and ominous cemeteries.
Death is not the end. Gain experience the longer you stay alive and improve your character after each playthrough with various perks from the talent tree making you more powerful and more prepared to progress further and further.
A variety of powerful adversaries to encounter, each with individual characteristics and abilities. Use different tactics to defeat them, as each type of enemy has different attack patterns and each boss has several phases that you need to strategize against.

This game did not run well for me. Put it on mid settings, and it was rough. It's fun when I'm not constantly lagging.
A super fun game after a few hours, however more and more you dive in you see how buggy it is, further you get in especially the last section is where i wanted to quite. The enemy spawn was all over the place with how you had to bounce to isle to isle trying to find 1 enemy to be bale to go to the next section, as well not being able to kill any of them forcing you to either restart or save the run and go back in it. The finale boss which im currenlty at right now and is BROKEN, the buffs i have make the finale boss static floating in the air, for over 5 plus minutes until he does something then goes back in the air and repeats. The bugs are very annoying and really should be addressed and fixed because once im done with this boss fight i probs wont come back to the game after experiencing these bugs especially the finale boss. I say pick it up on sale which it is right now and give it a go and see for yourself. Its still a fun game dont get me wrong, please give it a try and support the sevs for doing something amazing but again these bugs really destroy any happiness i had for the game.

nope Darkblade Ascent is very boring and kinda disapoited by the melee combat overall, the gameplay loop is good but the rest come to ruin it,the music is kinda meh,the graphics are not ugly but not good, the sound design is bad,the impact of your hit on enemy feel very spongy, they are no reaction or what ever the foes take big heavy but just dont care, the trailer show you very speedy/nervousgameplay but this is just oversight cause the think you will doing is wait for a opening to do parry cause balancing wize the game want you do the parry for big crowds control and big damage, the rogue lite mecanique is barely view, like the ramdom passif are really limited and the perk is just a value to upgrade, the first person melee is not engaging and very repetitive like the moveset is basic at most if you really look for melee combat fun and worth your time you have: vermintide 2 and darktide ,elderborn, dark messiah and so on, i can even recommande the elderscrolls series but this game, but the worst as a shooter enjoyer, the heresy come in the wave mode were you fight is cut off mid trough it by a bubble for you to choose the perk, that so frustrating, like a add on the middle of a movie or a crap like that, i wish i can recommende this game but i cannot.
Another Indie game with the worst optimization you can ever imagine. Built in mouse lag. And you can't turns shadows lower than "high". No point. Save your money.
Man stamina bars are the straightest things in the world.
I rarely post reviews. I feel i have to for this game. Since it fills a niche that was unfulfilled since i played titles like vermintide before where i poured in close to a thousand hours, i had no high expectations. Especially that this title is released by not a team of developers but seems to be a two-man team. It is really good and seems to have been inspired by titles like diablo 3, vermintide series and maybe even borderlands when it comes to design-ideas, gameplay and general content. I really had fun with this title and got close to the end of content after around 30 hours, though i dont even know what the maximum level for the gauntlet-challenge will be. I wish for this title to age gracefully like vermintide 2 and that the devs take note from its predecessor for their game. This game really is fun to play and definetly well recommended. Kudos to the developers!
I tried to like the game, I really did, you can see by me playing for nearly 8 hours. But this game just isn't fun, in the end most builds feel sorta awful compared to just daggers basic attacks with the cryomancer class. Of the four weapon types in the game two of their skills are awful (daggers and spear, regularly get you hit because they don't give invulnerability despite forcing you into the enemies faces), one of them is mediocre (sword, gives invulnerability but you're only able to kill one or two enemies on average), and one of them is good. (axe, despite not giving invulnerability the sheer damage and AOE actually makes it good even if you get hit) Most of the boons do very little to nothing without perfect setups, while the nature of needing to change your weapon regularly makes it so only a small number of them are good and a few feel almost entirely necessary just to make progression feel any good. The stat upgrades are seemingly extremely weighted towards run speed which does very little and also maxes out extremely quickly so you can even get fun amounts of speed despite getting it constantly. Most of the actually useful stat upgrades are just extra damage for a specific damage type which doesn't help if you get a choice between sword damage, sword damage, and run speed if you're using daggers and no good swords drop. Attack speed upgrades can be removed, they're literally 1-3% which isn't noticeable even with five of them. The passive upgrades are decent, aside from a single class. The class with the generally best passive upgrades is the cryomancer being able to slow, freeze, shield your health, and create massive explosions of ice (since you can freeze bosses it's still overall the best imo). the others are laser focused on just dealing as much single hit damage as possible while pretty awful against hordes does make them better against bosses if you want to kill it as quickly as possible. Of the four classes cryomancer is just the objectively best class since you can slow, perma freeze, and clear entire hordes almost instantly and extremely easily. The berserker class might as well not even exist, it's the only one with extra requirements but has barely any benefit to using, especially since it's entire playstyle revolves around a decaying bar and a single passive upgrade while all it's other passives do pretty much nothing. The other two classes are sorta just mediocre and forgettable. Despite being a roguelike there's either very little to no variety in the campaigns levels, after a dozen or so runs I never saw any new rooms and the only difference I saw was the doors you entered being in a different location every so often. The arena mode is even worse, there's literally no difference between runs other than just stats, same arena, same enemies, same timer, same boss, same everything. I usually like clunky sometimes bad games, obviously if the game is awful I return it pretty quick. But this game isn't awful, just bad and unfun in pretty much every department aside from graphics. TLDR: The game is pretty bad but not completely awful and unplayable, however it's not fun, doesn't have good lore/worldbuilding, and isn't work buying. Personal recommendation: A game that's actually really good and has a similar feel, try VOIN. A personal favorite build of mine on that game is Howling Reavers with the Bellringer passive then running around screaming and smacking ghost bells until the noise literally makes your enemies explode.
I sadly cannot recommend playing the game with it's super repetitive and clunky feeling combat! Game got potential and i will keep an eye out for any new upcoming titles released by PST to see how they improve in future releases
A lot more fun than I gave it credit for. It kind of reminds me Might & Magic Dark Messiah, and Elder Scrolls at the same time, but with roguelike elements. Which are both good things. Performance is also buttery smooth. Overall, I give the game a solid 8/10.
