About
As the name implies, this game stands on the shoulders of the Titans of the Past: games like Wizardry, Might and Magic VI-VIII, The Bard's Tale, Eye of the Beholder, and Legend of Grimrock.
Another meaning of the game's name is hidden inside the game's lore for you to uncover. But we know for sure our players are clever and already have some good guesses.
We're a Ukrainian team making a game for an old-school, hardcore audience - just like us. We are creating a game we love and want to play, and we hope you will enjoy it as well.

Delve into the carefully handcrafted dungeons in first-person view, but command a party of characters. Develop their skills; find, choose, and tune their equipment; learn and use spells and abilities that any 90s gamer feels familiar with.
Customize your Adventurers with the ability to add custom Portraits, Voices, and Personalities.
Beware, the game is hard, tough as nails.

The game world moves only when you move - so it's a mix of real-time action and thoughtfulness of a 'pause when you wish' approach.

There are lots of mechanics and nuances in the game's RPG system to think of and develop your characters with. Look at what we have to offer!
Character classes govern what skill a character can develop, and to what extent;
Skills have 4 levels of Mastery, each with its own bonuses;
Classes have Class Abilities so warriors don't just swing their swords, and have buttons to press;
Races provide stat bonuses and also govern which classes are available for characters;
Lots of stats - from basic ones such as HP and Energy to Crit Chance, Crit Multi, a whole bunch of D&D-inspired attributes. Also there are cooldown modifiers, true hit and true miss chances, blocking, regeneration, resistances, attack and defense and so on;
Items come with suffixes and prefixes so you can judge yourself if the item is BIS or trash;
You can craft on items you find or buy!
Spells come in 4 varieties - for each Mastery level. A Grandmaster Fireball is so hot it's actually plasma. A Master Heal becomes AOE. Each spell has something interesting to offer.

Create any type of a fantasy hero you want!
We love games that allow us to put at least hundreds of hours into theorycrafting our builds. For those who love it as well - we've made a Class Constructor. This is where multiclassing also comes in. Considering the amount of Classes and Skills to pick from, there are many wild possibilities.

Embark on procedurally generated Adventures and choose your path between nodes like Dungeons, Campfires, Shops, Unexpected Events, etc. Make your decisions carefully, considering different Dungeon Modifiers that can hinder or ease your way and bring more loot, XP, resources - or peril.

Dungeons are hand-crafted to provide the best experience, and we also care about replayability. Monsters spawn, secrets, and gameplay-affecting mutators are randomized.

You'll have a good place to put the resources you bring from your adventures - your town! Like you do it in Heroes of Might and Magic, construct buildings and upgrade them. That unlocks new options for character creation - races and classes; new items to buy; new skills and spells to learn; new crafting opportunities; and so on.

The itemization in the game is procedural and quite complex. Expect something similar to Diablo and other ARPGs: prefixes, suffixes, tiers, rerolling until you are satisfied, and a bit of farming for BIS items.

35 classes
15 races
30 monsters
35 skills with 4 mastery levels each
200+ spells (also with 4 mastery levels)
200+ items
100+ item affixes
30 mutators, boons, and perks
…
All that brings you Infinite adventures!

We're a no-budget team working on a game we love, driven by passion. We have human resources we have, and this doesn't cover everything.
So to make a complete game we use mostly purchased and some free assets from various marketplaces.
We also use Synty assets - they are amazing and allow us to keep the artistic style coherent. In an ideal world we've used our own assets but that's impossible for us at the moment. We modified the enemies' 3D models to look somewhat more distinctive, and use many other asset packs and assets of our own creation.
AI image generation was used for Character Portraits and Spells/Ability icons.

You don't get to pick your starting party. You have to pay to replace them. You have Human as the only option to start with and 5 classes, so almost no customization. This is not how you start a "party building rpg." There does seem to be a wonderful combat system underneath, but I can't get the bad taste of the start out of my mouth. Give me a build party option to start, with at least 4 races and 7-10 classes (even if they're locked once you start the actual game), and then I'll change this vote. EDIT: I tried to stick with it for awhile... but man, this game is repetitive. There's only a handful of maps, so you're playing the same ones over and over again. Progress is slow, so the grind is pretty crazy. I think I'm done with this.
Released 2nd December 2025, announced final patch 21st February 2026 .... (maybe 20th ...) Sorry but no matter how much you want to try out the game the procedural generation leaves a lot to be desired, seemingly the same 4 or 5 very confined maps which stay the same barring some doors get blocked and unblocked or some pathways move - this is a same old same old complaint from someone who put over 3000 hours into elite dangerous (over both frontier launcher and steam launcher) I will now be avoiding any games by Devils Dozen Games because dropping something as soon as you release it doesnt bode well for any future games
As fan of golden era M&M I want to like game, but simply cannot. To many little things that sips enjoyment out of the game... Lets start with positive: - mechanical party customization – many races, lot of classes (cool) - time moves as you move – I find this probably my favorite Negatives: - game optimization – there is no reason my cpu fan should sound like he needs to take off. - equipment – my cod. Equpment system is so ugly. There is no sorting options (you can filter, but it is like: clear filter, *click* open filtering options, *click* unfilter previous option, *click* filter new option). Icons are small, and I think there is too many slots for equipment. Not many games made me not wanting to check new equipment that I got, and this is one of them. - chaotic rougelite – gameplay system is very rougelike, but it means single adventures don’t have their story anymore… first you go to wall fighting extraplanars, after that you fight in arena in forest fighting rats… next you go to a cave to rest, and after that you are in marketplace fighting greenskins... - limited sets – I don’t know if there is more than 10 dungeons in the game (some with variations) - limited enemy variety – Devs provided ok number of enemy factions but there is lack of variety inside a faction, so you often meet cross-factional parties. Probably the biggest letdown are beasts, as the only bestial enemies that I meet are… the rats (3 types, but still), so they often along the mages etc. - new feature 6 people party mode – It sounded cool… until I found out that increasing party size by even single person simply triples enemy dmg and HP (also I think it increase number of enemy spawns, and rare enemies often get modifiers like “your spells are usless now”). So something that sounded like “I could use that nishe class” for a party, became tool for people for super optimizing. It can provide some WTF moments like: being hit for 160 dmg at level 1, being 1 shoted by lv 1 rat while being level 2, Opening door and seeing special fire rat boss, hiding behind corner and it cast fireball and wiped it’s own entourage (this one was funny thou). - Poor balance – there are many classes, but some just don’t feel as useful as others. It wouldn’t be bad if gameplay didn’t reward rather balanced, and optimized parties (especially for 6 party size). One of my WTF moment was when class offered dual-wielding skill and not weapon that was possible to use in offhand - AI – Ok lets point big elephant in the room. Use of AI for character portraits… I may be more understanding if portraits were better, but some have this deja vu feeling like I seen these somewhere, not identical but very similar, like they feed original and modified it with AI. For sure it would be better if devs made simple face creator in simplistic style of game. - End of support – game reached it’s end of support, so no design flaws will ever be revised, no QoL feature added… I understand a bit, as game wasn’t commercial success, well M&M rpgs fans are probably too small group to support, so If you won’t catch big streamer attention then it is at most passion project. Closing thoughts… I would probably still found many nitpicks, but in the end while I have lot of negative thoughts I still hope that devs will learn from experience and next project will be better. If they make another game that I am interested in I may buy it, but they still need to keep in mind that I am in minority, and many players will probably just blacklist for such sudden EoS. Will I keep playing? Maybe in small doses, but will erase my 6 people squad as playing it is frustrating for me (well golden age M&M games weren’t exactly hard games). EDIT: it seems DEV still provide some bug fixes, so I deleted paragph about it that I missunderstood. tiny "+" for Devs.
Support for the game is over. I would recommend you not buy it.
This is swiftly going into my refund request after this review. Some say that being in early access gives you "protection" but I think Early Access games should have at least some minimum standard. But enough about UI that looks like it's been done by me in Visual Basic on my second lesson of web design 10 years ago at college. What I expected was an open world. I am desperately looking for something like Might and Magic series. This isn't it. Not even close. I did not expect to just click "adventure" and be teleported to an instanced zone where I just fight. I was hoping for a story and an open world I could walk through. That's something that a 20+ year old game did already. This game is very much not for me. I don't want instanced battle zones. The UI takes me out of the game because it looks so poorly. What a shame. I honestly don't get the amount of positive reviews but I am glad you people like it. Perhaps with more funding... Ah well, not from me unfortunately, but I'll keep this on wishlist to see what happens with this in a year or two.
The combat is really, really fun and I'm enjoying the aesthetic. The maps are well designed and interesting. I wish there were a lot more of them, because you quickly end up doing the same ones over and over. However my biggest complaint is that I have to use windows magnifier to read any tooltips because the text is so tiny!
You have to grind a lot. repetitive & boring
