Dark Tales: Edgar Allan Poe's The Bells Collector's Edition

I enjoy all the Dark Tales series , I have other games relating to Edgar Allen Poe , they are interesting and enjoyable .

This game is pretty and pleasant and has a bit of creepy thrill thrown in, like most of the Dupin games. He's here and in his usual form. I love this guy. He takes the character to the hospital and leaves you to defuse the bomb, put the fire out and save the villagers. Lol. There are way too many 'find the multiple emblems' to open things so you can get more emblems or keys. But it was still a pleasant diversion. I do wish the developers wouldn't make it laughably easy. The password you need for the typewriter? It's scratched into the table next to it. Really? So this falls into the category of pleasant no-brainer entertainment and if that's your cup of tea, enjoy.

It was a bit too cantankerous, but overall a fun little game.

This series seems to follow the plots of Edgar Allen Poe’s stories. Of course, with you and a Detective involved. This one, you are called in to solve the disappearance of a famed author. As with most cases, there are more to this than it appears. HO scenes are fun, minigames challenging, and the plot engaging. Recommend in the bundle, just for ease of purchase.

nettes Hidden Object Game - nicht so sehr linear wie Artifex Spiele Es kommt auch ohne "Magieeinlagen" aus. Man muss sich merken was wo noch nicht erledigt war, da man viel später noch mal dort hin muss etwas lösen und holen. Es wird nicht unbedingt angezeigt wo das war. Gute - teils recht schwierige Minispiele, die oft auch noch von leicht auf schwer zu stellen und dann noch schwieriger zu lösen sind. Hatte einige Stunden Spaß damit - kein Überflieger - aber ein recht gutes Spiel. Es gibt einige "ingame" Erfolge und Trophäen zu sammeln.

Quite chilling plot, good puzzles and solid dose of hidden object screnes. Recommended. 7/10

It is a good Point- and Click Puzzlegame. However, I don`t think, that this has anything to do with Poe`s work. I mean, it is a poem, so you can`t do that much with but still. The game`s also short, so don`t expect a grand experience.

Un HOG efficace avec une intrigue plaisante. Le 2ème meilleur de la série, juste derrière "The Devil in the Bellfry", sa suite, qui lui ressemble beaucoup (mais on ne s'en plaindra pas). Toujours exclusivement en anglais. A noter que parfois dans le jeu, il faut attendre une intervention de Dupin pour pouvoir avancer. Cela se traduit par le fait de devoir quitter la scène (perso j'allais juste sur la carte et ca le faisait). Scénaristiquement, cela le rend plus actif (faut bien dire que dans tous les épisodes on fait tout le boulot). Mais d'un point de vue gameplay, cela pourra peut-être irriter (cela casse le rythme, d'ailleurs l'idée n'a pas été reprise pour la suite).
