About
Dangerous Galaxy is a rogue-lite with physics-based combat and extensive ship upgrading, where you explore procedurally generated star systems, manage resources, and fight enemies and boss battles to save the galaxy from evil.
Extensive ship upgrading system:
Over 35 unique passive and active ship upgrades with unique effects based on their tiers.
Unlockable main weapons that you can choose before each run.
Freedom to build the ship in a way that you want by stacking passive and active upgrades, as long as they connect to the core of the ship.
Each upgrade can be leveled up, and active upgrades present a unique choice of what power to add to the upgrade.
The player can hold up to 4 active abilities at any time.
Fun physics-based combat:
Every object (including the player) can be pushed away, bumped into, or destroyed.
Active abilities (like rockets) can create explosions or gravity-altering effects.
Procedurally generated star systems and levels:
The game is split into 4 stages. Each stage has a procedurally generated star system.
Star systems have many levels, and each level is procedurally generated (except the boss battles).
As you travel through the star system, the danger and difficulty of it increase, as shown in the danger meter below.
Discover special events that allow you to choose one out of three upgrades and lost cargo containers.

A nice game with various weapons and upgrades with a refined system. Simple, challenging and fun.
I had a really fun time with this game overall. The beginning feels a bit slow, but once you start understanding the mechanics and everything clicks, it really gets going. One of the most interesting design choices is the upgrade system where you combine models. It adds a nice layer of strategy instead of just doing linear upgrades. You can tell the game is crafted with a lot of care - there’s strong attention to detail in both the gameplay and presentation. If I had one personal preference, I’d probably lean toward a less “cute” visual style and more of a gritty, cool-looking aesthetic. That said, the current style is still well executed and fits the game’s tone. I did run into one technical issue: the game crashed once when I disconnected my controller mid-game because I wanted to switch to keyboard.
A good shooter with a fun customization process. Excellent support from the programming team to resolve bugs.
Dangerous Galaxy is simple, fast, and surprisingly addictive. I really enjoyed the progression and variety in the gameplay — the rogue-lite mechanics keep things fresh and challenging, and I found myself experimenting with different builds every run. The pacing feels spot-on, and each attempt is engaging and rewarding, even when you don’t make it all the way through. Great little title — definitely worth a go.
Dangerous Galaxy is fun and enjoyable, yes it isn't a complex game but it definitely is a world of fun to play.
If you like action mixed with challenges & chill gameplay this is worth playing everytime its like a new game
Dangerous Galaxy was pretty fun. I enjoyed the minigame of managing which upgrades you could select based on which connectors they had which adds a little something extra to the traditional rogue-lite replayability. The developer did a good job with a number of animations as well and it is a fun premise with the physics effects on everything.
Great semi-idle time waster. Nice progression and just fun to play.
I’m really enjoying this game so far. The levels feel nicely balanced and challenging .The graphics are well polished, and there’s a lot of depth to the gameplay ( enemies, upgrades, and level variety). It’s clear the developers put real thought into the details. Honestly, I’d happily recommend this one to anyone looking for a fun experience, especially at this price.
Dangerous Galaxy is a surprisingly addictive and fun space roguelite that grabbed my attention right from the start. For a newly released game, it already feels smooth, polished, and exciting to play. The gameplay is challenging in a good way, Every upgrade actually matters, and experimenting with different build combinations is a big part of the fun. One of my favorite setups so far is the Vampirism + Bat Slinger combo because it feels powerful and super satisfying to use. The upgrade system always keeps each run fresh and rewarding. I also really like the level difficulty system. Having Easy, Medium, and Hard options makes the game a lot more accessible early on, and it gives you room to grow your skills at your own pace. It’s a small feature, but it helps a lot with overall progression. Visually, the game looks great. The effects, colors, and overall atmosphere make each level feel engaging. Performance has been solid, and the fast-paced combat keeps the action flowing nonstop. I’d love to see even more content in the future like new skins, music, or some flashy animations, but even as it is right now, Dangerous Galaxy is a genuinely enjoyable experience. It has a lot of potential and already delivers a fun and rewarding gameplay loop. If you’re into roguelites or upgrade-based shooters, this one is definitely worth checking out. I’m excited to see how it grows from here.
