About
Dangerous Galaxy is a rogue-lite with physics-based combat and extensive ship upgrading, where you explore procedurally generated star systems, manage resources, and fight enemies and boss battles to save the galaxy from evil.
Extensive ship upgrading system:
Over 35 unique passive and active ship upgrades with unique effects based on their tiers.
Unlockable main weapons that you can choose before each run.
Freedom to build the ship in a way that you want by stacking passive and active upgrades, as long as they connect to the core of the ship.
Each upgrade can be leveled up, and active upgrades present a unique choice of what power to add to the upgrade.
The player can hold up to 4 active abilities at any time.
Fun physics-based combat:
Every object (including the player) can be pushed away, bumped into, or destroyed.
Active abilities (like rockets) can create explosions or gravity-altering effects.
Procedurally generated star systems and levels:
The game is split into 4 stages. Each stage has a procedurally generated star system.
Star systems have many levels, and each level is procedurally generated (except the boss battles).
As you travel through the star system, the danger and difficulty of it increase, as shown in the danger meter below.
Discover special events that allow you to choose one out of three upgrades and lost cargo containers.

Very cool game, creative graphics.
It's a pretty fun game to pass time. I just tried some indie games and this one stands out among them. The interactive level design is pretty immersive in my opinion. The best part about this game is ship customization. The abilities you buy/get, attaching them to your ship is like another mini game. If you have extra 3-5 bucks in your steam wallet and you need a nostalgic rogue like game that is polished, well designed, this is the game you should get.
Dangerous Galaxy nails everything a space action game should. The combat is fast and satisfying, the ship customization is deep without being confusing, and the world feels huge and mysterious. The atmosphere and soundtrack are top-tier. If you love space games, this one is absolutely worth your time.
Super fun and easy to play and like any rogue-lite the more you play the better it gets. Would definitely recommend as a great time killer or something to hold you over while your waiting on your next 250gb game download from all the AAA companies these days.
