Romance with Chocolate is the second game from Russian developer, Crisp App Studio, and follows in the steps of their previous Steam release with another "adventureless" hidden object title for those who prefer a little less point 'n' click in their HOGs. While I'm not quite as taken with this game as compared to Time Trap, it still has a certain amount of charm despite an unpolished translation...and the soundtrack is lovely. Gameplay is simply picking out items from a list of words or silhouttes. If you're looking to 100% achievements, you'll need to play each level over and over again to decrease the time it takes to finish them and earn 3 stars, but I found this to be enjoyable enough. Leaderboards are also available for those who like to challenge themselves competitively, which is something not often done in the genre. My biggest gripe is with the lack of graphical fidelity. It is clear that the images were upscaled from a lower resolution, and thus many items are blurry and hard to distinguish. The ability to play in windowed mode would have helped with this issue some, but sadly it's not an option. That said, the enjoyment I received from this little title outweighed the issues I had with it's presentation, and it's a fairly easy 100% to boot. At best, the above story has something to do with the playable cards by chance. These are sometimes extremely difficult, there is a typing function. But since this is often about looking for a couple, this is of little use to you. Only one of two objects is displayed. In addition, the image quality of the drawings is so poor and so poor that it is almost impossible to solve them. The graphics quality is also poor. There is no graphics setting. The sound cannot be switched off either, so the music plays constantly. There are no settings at all, no menu at all, not even exit. Darüberhinaus ist die Bildqualität der Zeichnungen so schlecht und so bund das schon dadurch das Lösen kaum möglich ist. Die Grafikquallität ist ebenfalls schlecht. Eine Grafikeinstellung gibt es nicht. Auch der Ton lässt sich nicht abschalten, die Musik dudelt also immerzu. Es gibt gar keine Einstellungen, überhaupt kein Menü, nicht mal Exit. Dies geht nur über die Tableiste und dann mit Task Manager ausschalten. Ich habe alle Spiele dieses Herausgebers, dieses hier ist totaler Schrott. Absolut nicht Empfohlen. Pictures are looking decent. The Main Characters do look sharp enough. What i like is that it does have something like an Artstyle and is not just an unedited Photoshop picture, it looks a lot more like a painting. The Soundtrack was pretty good in my opinion as it had some Bioshock Infinite vibes with it. Overall im not that hugely amazed but that is probably because i am more used into playing other genres of games. [ 5,5 out of 10 ] [*]Gameplay: Again, i never really play Point & Click/ Hidden Object Games so i am not the best Guy to judge this but i will try my Best. Mostly you have to find Objects ( Displayed with the name of the Object that us hidden) or other thing like animals etc. in random Picture of a Location. What is nice is that you get relaxed while playing this and makes nice use of your Optic skills. Sadly these types of Moments are a little bit inconsistent. Basically, you get 3 times in a row the same type of Problem. It could be better to constantly mix it up. Other than that i expected almost no interest gameplay-wise by me but was actually suprised. Dans la même collection que "Beauty and the Beast" mais attention, à ne pas comparer ! Ici on mélange les genres objets cachés, puzzles, jeux de paires (très/trop flou tant il y a d’éléments, que ce soit les fleurs ou les gâteaux c’est pénible) ou encore de différences…un peu de tout un peu de rien. Chacun des 24 niveaux et à terminer le plus rapidement possible avec le moins de mauvais clicks pour enchainer les combos et maximiser vos points. Bref, un joli petit brouillon, un bien beau bazar ! (pour ne pas être vulgaire) Les profondeurs sont floues ce qui empêche la bonne lecture des scènes et le chrono pour atteindre les 3 étoiles et parfois très compréhensif tantôt diablement punitif. C’est à n’y rien comprendre ! L’histoire et les transitions en mode « photos » sont terriblement niaises et franchement inutiles. Oubliez ça !

Got this for the short achievements! Graphics are bleh & somewhat hard to see the objects you're trying to find. Was pretty cheap during the Winter Sale. I'd rather go with a different hidden object game.

tldr: buy at a discount after you've exhausted the more than hundred better HOGs on Steam. One of the worst hidden object games (HOG) I've played in years, and I've played a lot of them (about 130 on Steam and more elsewhere, so I can make comparisons). They did their HOG like they were done more than 10 years ago. Images are ugly and blurry, totally random objects are thrown on screen, abysmal story (granted, HOG stories are never Pulitzer material, but still), even the interface sucks. There are 4 ot 5 puzzles if I remember correctly, all very easy except one a bit more annoying. The rest is HOG scenes, of three types: find an object by its name, shape, or find pairs. The game is short (1 to 2 h) and 100% achievements is relatively easy, like all HOGs.

さくっとクリアできるHiddenObject。 HiddenObjectなのですが、タイムアタック要素もあって、実績を全て解除するのは大変。（私はあきらめました） ストーリーもあってないようなものですし、絵は明るくて綺麗なので、HiddenObjectってどんなの？っていう入門編には丁度よいのではないでしょうか。 フルプライスでも安いですが、その価値はあるかと問われると正直微妙かとおもわれますので、セール中に狙ってみてはいかがでしょう。

Le jeu Romance with Chocolate est le deuxième jeu du développeur russe Crisp App Studio. C'est tout simplement un bon jeu romantique appartenant aux genres Objets cachés et Visual Novel. Cette histoire d'amour se déroule dans la capitale mondiale et nous plonge dans Paris au 18e siècle... le jeu se compose de trois types de puzzles: scènes d'objets cachés, repositionnement d'images et séquences de puzzle. Votre but est de trouver tous les objets cachés ou de déplacer les images aussi vite que possible pour marquer autant de points et gagner trois cœurs pour ce niveau particulier. Les visages des personnages sont de vraies photos numérisées de personnes! Les puzzles de romantisme avec le chocolat sont devenus plus complexes et intéressants que le jeu précédent. Vous recevrez 5 succès facilement gagnés... je recommande ce jeu et le prix est très abordable. Amicalement Le pasteur

A unique seek and find experience. Was very straightforward plot-wise (no time travel or bringing dead women back to life) and the music was soothing. A very casual game with many hints available should you need them. The ending was a little abrupt and the play time was very short (you could definitely finish it in half an hour or less if you wanted to). Overall, a pleasant experience and a nice change of pace from the usual over-the-top, mysticism-filled HOP games.
