Daemonologie

К концу 5-го дня ведьма должна быть казнена[/h1] Кто из деревенских виновен, а кто нет – решает игрок через призму охотника на ведьм. Способы достать из жителей правду соответствующие – разговоры и пытки. У каждого жителя свои скелеты в шкафу и собственная версия событий. Отделить правду от вымысла не всегда просто, но ведьма должна быть найдена. Хоррор в Daemonologie указан не просто ради галочки. Происходящие события идеально дополняются аудиовизуальной частью. Стоит отметить отдельную находку в виде снов охотника, которые выполнены в стилистике покадровой анимации. С технической стороны проект безупречен — багов и вылетов не встречалось. И хотя очень хочется углубиться в спойлеры, воздержусь, ведь основной смысл заложен в процессе расследования и раскрытии секретов местной общины. Скажу лишь: Daemonologie сделана с глубоким знанием исторического контекста охоты на ведьм. В процессе вы неизбежно вслушиваетесь в каждую реплику, потому что настоящий смысл происходящего — далеко не в поиске «виновной»

Я вынужден поставить отрицательно данной игре. Слабый сюжет. Задумка отличная (правда она из Pentiment), но справиться с таким сценарием очень тяжело. Пытки являются обязательным условием - а по сути должны быть подсказками для тех, кто не может разобраться сам или уж некой крайней мерой, если есть настоящий повод. Кукольные кат сцены великолепны, но в остальное графика очень слабая.

x-- 8/110 --x Genuinely creepy and disturbing, with incredible story telling. Absolutely LOVED the art direction, specially with the claymatio scenes. It's short too, but 100% replayable.

A really short game about witch hunter trying to pin down a witch in a small countryside village. An introspective game about how one discerns the "truth" and the questionable reliability of torture as a means of extracting facts. The vibes of this one is really nice, but the shortness of its length left me wanting for a bit more.

Jogão. Um jogo pra relembrar o quanto a essência do fanatismo, da misoginia e a ignorância são extremamente cruéis. No fim, simplesmente não importa, achar a bruxa, nunca foi importante, eu entrei em uma imersão que me fez pensar "o que seria a bruxa?" Desde sempre, apenas querem um culpado.

Pretty neat short horror game with cool art and animation.

A cute little one hour~ experience wrapped up in a grotesque and appalling bow. Whilst the gameplay isn't anything particularly interesting, it also clearly isn't the point of the game. This game is more of a narrative horror experience than anything else. If you want anything other than beautifully surreal horror animations and the lingering guilt of torture weighing on your soul, then this game probably would not be for you. For lovers of the movie The VVitch & other folk horror experiences.
