I saw the memes and funny glitches from the first release of the game (hardy-har-har npcs go brrrrrrr), and that in itself was quite entertaining. I was lucky enough that my friend bought me this as a Christmas gift when the game was polished enough. I'd watched many tutorials and thought of some fun builds before I even launched the game for the first time. Aside from all that though- let me ask you something: Who are you when you're near the end of your life, and what does it mean to leave a legacy behind you? How does that affect your views on family, on fame and fortune, on forgiveness and second chances, and on your values and what you choose to fight for? Cyberpunk 2077 answers many of these questions BEAUTIFULLY. I'll put money down to say this is one of the best written narratives in gaming history. The storylines, NPCs, and diverging paths are all written and detailed so so well! And thats just for the story! HA! As for the combat? OH GOOD GOD THE COMBAT!! You can stealth, throw knives, fire big-ass machine guns, hack your enemies, lure them to a gas tank and blow it up, or slice and dice with Mantis blades- There's so many awesome weapons and cyberware that you'll find your own incredibly satisfying ways to flatline an average Maelstrom gonk down in Watson, zero some Tygers in Japantown, or clear out a Maxtac Squad! Do what you want- there really are no bad picks to fighting as long as you have the skills, upgrades, chrome, and eddies. NOW let me get to the best part of Cyberpunk itself, in my opinion- Night City. Where legends rise and fall every day. There are all sorts of little side missions scattered around, but if you really want to experience this game for yourself- get your favorite vehicle and gear and just explore. Search every nook and cranny- or sit next to a campfire in the wastelands if the noise is too much for you. CDProjectRed studied actual city layouts and dynamics, making the enviornments here some of the most immersive and beautiful you will ever see. I like to stand at a balcony over Japantown or find some other cozy overlooks. I promise you will find some spectauclar views, restaurants, and places to chill. Remember to use the in-game camera mode to really save your memories and spectacular views with this game! I really could go on ENDLESSLY gushing here. Since playing I've watched Edgerunners and purchased the No Coincidence novel. Might even buy some enamel pins for my outings. This truly is one of the greatest franchises in gaming. Please save up your money experience this game. Tell me about it if you can! Lastly- CMAC, if you're reading this, you're one of my best Chooms. Thanks for this gift. If the game ever updates with multiplayer or something like that, I'll drive us down to The Afterlife for a drink.
Really fun game with a rich story so far. Driving is a bit wonkey but not too much. Find driving motorcycles easier. No issues with stability or framerate drops with the oob settings.
What its else to say? Yes, the game is fixed and is pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ great now. Only problems are the inability to save sometimes (fixed by mod) or the pretty annoying memory leak (fixed by restart your pc) If you want to play as someone with insane keanu reeves in your head, its for you.
