Cursed Fables: White as Snow Collector's Edition

This is your typical hidden object + puzzles + add simple things together in your inventory game. It's a twisted version of Snow White from the queen's perspective. It's pretty linear with a bit of dialogue here and there and very brief scenes (mainly to transition to the next objective). Playable areas in a location sparkle. PROS +twisted fairytale +shorter bonus story at the end +at the end there is optional bonus content such as replaying the mini-games & small puzzles you can put together from puzzle pieces collected during the game (this isn't mandatory to finish the story, and if you miss collecting some pieces you can go back at the end to find them) +there are hints you can use and a skip option for mini-games if you're stuck CONS -short (took me about 4h) -occasionally the instructions for mini-games weren't clear enough and I found myself trying random things hoping I could figure out what I was supposed to be doing Overall, while I don't think the game is particularly special or memorable (I'd recommend buying it on sale), it was not particularly difficult and an enjoyable few hours.

The entire main game was under 2 hours.

Keeps saying in is corrupted every evening for next morning. 3rd time and I was on the bonus, ridiculous to have that happen. Once maybe but . . .

Short, but fun game. Good graphics and plot. Collectables are fun which opens a secret room which is challenging.

I really had a lot of fun with this game. Taking twists on folktales and fables are pretty common in HOPA games (Dark Parables being the most famous example) and this is a twisted version of Snow White which has to be one of the most wildest takes on the tale I've ever seen. A game with a decent mid level difficulty. Nothing too challenging or too easy. The art was nice, and I did enjoy the interesting (if bizarre) variant of Snow White. And I actually got involved in the step mother's clear love for Snow White. It is shorter, so take as you will. But still I have no complaints about this game.
