Great job domini! another game, another bug. cant finish bonus chapter cause piece missing.
Just a warning for new purchasers: It looks like it might be a good game, but for at least a few people, it's terribly glitched. There are several potential places in the game where you simply can't pick anything up, the game tells you there's nothing to do at any of the available map places, and there's nothing in your inventory that you can do anything with. I reset the game three times, and encountered glitches each time. The game may be fun - it looks at least like it has a decent story line - but if you can't play it, it's pretty worthless.
I can't really recommend this in good faith, the game had several major bugs that, had I not been patient with, would have entirely ended gameplay for me. Twice in the main game and the bonus chapter I came upon an item that glitched out and wouldn't allow me to pick up or interact despite the various items being necessary to proceed, and I literally had to start the game and bonus chapter over. Very disappointing as the Fairy Godmother series is one of my favorite HOG series from Big Fish. Further, several of the HOPG were nonsensical as the answers or connections made no sense, even in regular reusable HOG terms. The puzzles were pretty boring and some were just "click it until it works" puzzles. I wouldn't care so much if not for the major bugs. The story is fun, the voice acting and animation is good, and the locations are beautiful. I'm hoping my last 2 Fairy Godmother games are better
i do not like games that throws unknown puzzles at you with no explanation.
While some players reported bugs or freezes, I did not find any. My gameplay was smooth, though I imagine it varies from computer to computer. Out of all the fairy godmother games, this is my favorite, so far. The puzzles were well done and fun to play with average to hard difficulty The hidden object scenes could be surprisingly challenging at times, but creative. My only 'complaint' is that the bonus chapter wasn't that interesting, and i didn't finish it because I wasn't engaged enough. But other than that 4/5 game
I absolutely love this game! I want more of them. This had some puzzles I had to think about. I like games that play off of fairy tales. I found no glitches in the game. Keep up the good work!
This is one of the many "look for items and use them elsewhere" with occasional "sort things in this picture to get an item you use later" games. It starts with a robbed handbag which leads to the ongoing "catch the robber" task. You visit several locations where you have to fix things, unlock storages (sometimes using unconventional methods). Unfortunately it's not bug free. In a game in which you have to pick up objects to continue, it's not excuseable if such important objects cannot be picked up, by any means. If that would happen in one session but not in another run after reset, I would say "ok, can happen, and it works". But if the same bug hits in three runs from start, it's a big flaw. It wouldn't matter much if you could save your progress at the start of a chapter so you only need to redo a few steps maybe in a different order. But these "Hidden Objects" games rarely allows to restart just a chapter with all things you brought with (not to speak "with everything you SHOULD have at this step") or even have a "Save current progression" feature. Yes, it continues where you left the game the last session, but if you were bugged already at that step, you're still bugged. The graphics quality is detailed, though not made for HD or even higher resolution monitors. But it's detailed enough to recognize things. Voiceovers are understandable, their quality is also good enough. Unfortunately, the craftmanship quality doesn't egalize fundamental bugs. In the current state, I can't recommend the game.
Do I recommend this game 100%? No. For me towards the end it became a bit buggy with not always having the sound effects in the cutscenes and I'm pretty sure one cutscene I didn't even see, I only saw a white field. Was the game enjoyable nonetheless? Yes.
wont launch after inSTALL
Game is very poorly designed and has several errors that should have been caught and fixed before it was published. Issues include: Items having wrong names. The most glaring is the thermos is labeled "hot water" but when hot water is added it changes the name to "thermos". There aren't many hidden object puzzles and those that do have are also poorly designed. There were three issues in one puzzle. The items were a gun, camera and a car wheel. The image had a pistol and a rifle; the pistol is the correct weapon. The main image has a security camera clearly shown as well as a 80's style camera shown to the side. Then there was a car with wheels shown as well as a single car wheel in a different frame. Either the wording needs to be changed (pistol instead of gun) or the images need to be changed- swap out the car and security camera for something else. Items needed to solve barriers often don't make sense and often similar items can be found in the same area (a length of chain and a scarf). The mini games objectives aren't obvious, sometimes even when you click on the "help" icon. Even though I purchased this game on sale it wasn't worth the cost.
