Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Sep 3 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
SAY ANYTHING in Cryptmaster - the bizarre dungeon-crawling adventure where words control everything.
In the ancient past, four brave heroes banded together to destroy a terrible evil, giving their lives to save countless others. But now their eternal rest has been disturbed by the Cryptmaster, a capricious necromancer in whose thrall they must ascend through the buried strata of the city above them - the gloomy Bonehouses, mysterious Sunken Sea and freakish Downwood.
With the enigmatic Soulstone in hand, the four adventurers must recover their memories, solve whimsical puzzles and defeat outlandish enemies. From fishing and card games to bardic rap battles, finding the right word is the key to success. Who knows, maybe you'll even remember a little more than you bargained for...

It is just too repetitive. The humor is amazing, but that's about it. I can not be bothered doing the same fight several 100 times. The puzzles are not different enough, and some are just annoying. This could have been way better with a smaller scope or more fleshed-out systems.
Fun, unique game. Definitely not for everyone, definitely for people who play Wordle. The end gets cluttered with all your words to remember (there's a list of words but like.. youll beat the end with like the same handful of things) Still cool and unique gimmick

I really wish there was a "mixed" option, because thats how I would describe the game. the first two areas were by all accounts amazing, they had combat, puzzles, clues and was all and all pretty fair then the third area, where eighty percent of the enemies now do two damage, the hints and puzzles are so beyond niche that you would have to look it up. and the fetch quest for the helmets was just a repeat of the first area, but if the third area was the worst. whats the most boring and forgettable? the final area, you can skip the paladins, and the ones you dont skip ALL do two damage, and the final bossfight is such a nothing burger that I didnt even realize it was the final fight. If I forget about the third and final area, I would consider it a part of my list of favourite games. so that is exactly what I am going to do
A pretty smart mix of dungeon crawler, hangman, and Typing of the Dead. The "guess a word" mechanics of leveling work well with encouraging enemy encounters and solving riddles. I wish there was more meat to the progression (most words guessed did nothing and eventually allowed you to add a letter to your name to increase health, which felt sparse).
It's for a certain type of person. I found the objective of recovering your undead party's memories conceptually interesting, and the cryptmaster's VA is really pleasant to listen to, but I didn't like the overall gameplay, and the game's world kind of bored me. Felt the vibe was similar to a retro point-and-click game, combined with hangman/wordle. Deserves to be recommended because of the effort the devs have invested, and it's probably a great game for people who enjoy word games.
Best part of this game that u use your memory and your typing skills improve. U also have many riddles in here and card game WHATEVER that I enjoyed the most. Just add best cards and remove the worst...
Cryptmaster has a very novel central concept: typing to guess and activate character skills, and to solve various riddles. However, it became very repetitive a few hours in. Combat was always one enemy vs your group, and the enemies had very few, if any, distinguishing characteristics or special moves. The characters in your group gain a lot of different skills, but none of them seemed distinctly useful relative to their typing cost. I ended up just spamming the starting abilities a lot to finish fights quicker. I personally did not enjoy the black-and-white aesthetic. It was easy to get disoriented in the world, as the areas looked too similar without color. The basic idea of "typing as combat and puzzle solving" is quite novel, but I just don't think the game does enough interesting with the idea to justify the game length.
It's a fun little game where you use typed words to fight enemies and solve riddles. Some of the riddles are extremely easy...but some are extremely difficult, though. It has a horror-esque noire feel to the game, but it's also got funny crude elements involved. There is a card game inside of the game called "Whatever" and it's really fun in my opinion. I still go back to play it every now and then, even after beating the game. I really wish there existed a physical version of the Whatever game that I could purchase to play with friends. I do have some gripes other than some of the riddles being pretty convoluted. When you beat the game, you probably won't even have half of the character's words (memories) unlocked, nor will you have half of the total number of cards for Whatever. Even after playing for a while, I still am missing several of the Whatever cards, and I don't think I will ever obtain them all. There isn't even a catalog or master list online anywhere to tell you what ones you are missing, or how to get them (they added over 100 cards in 2024, so the wiki/fandom is outdated). This grind to complete these 2 things is absolutely grueling. Also, some of the sound design in the game drove me nuts. There are a few words that you can use for one of the characters that will spawn a phantom dog. This dog will yip and bark constantly, even after the fight is over. Quite annoying. Similarly there are fairies that will constantly blurt out letters that you can hear from quite far away in some places. When you're sitting trying to think of how to solve a riddle, this noise is VERY annoying. Likewise, there is a place in the game where you can challenge some NPC's to games of Whatever, but while you're playing, you can constantly hear one of them screaming "OPEN ME!!! O-P-E-N MEEEEEEE!!!". It's unrelenting. I really wish they had accounted for these things, but all in all I'd say I enjoyed it.
挺有意思的,根据描述猜物品名字,就是纯英文,英语词汇量少点就会很难受了 哦还有,没有对话回放记录真的难受,有些对话我还没来得及看完就没了,不知道刚叽里咕噜啥呢只能自己乱搞
I couldnt finish Cryptmaster. Its baffling to me its as highly rated as it is (94% at time of review). Cryptmaster has a really neat gimmick with this word based combat and text based dungeon crawling, which is runs into the ground after the first 2 or 3 hours. All this game is a series of rooms that have a couple monsters in them which are littered with riddle and question based word puzzles. Over and over and over. I thought I was at the ending when it opened into another area which wasnt even the last area. I called it after that. I can appreciate a gimmick but they didnt develop it and then had the gall to ask for 15 hours of my time...
