well i wanted to try the game but it had massive FPS stutters with my i9 and 5080.. then i tried to upgrade graphic card driver (only 1 update more) now the game wont even start and my pc doesnt react too. cant play so refunded
The game has too many issues. Multiplayer is glitched as hell in every possible way. Loot is not instanced and you have to divide the gold pickup between yourselves. If you beat the game more than once, you can't skip the final cutscene. There are many more issues that you check other reviews. I had low expectations for this, but it feels like an untested game.

Less than an hour in and I already feel like I’ve seen enough. Crimson Moon has the same problem I keep running into with recent UE5 games. Your character looks sharp and detailed while the actual world around them is a blurry mess. Watch the trailers on the Steam page and everything looks crystal clear, but actually playing it is a completely different experience. You can technically turn motion blur off, but that doesn’t seem to remove it completely. There is still this horrible smearing across the environment whenever you move the camera. Turning on DLSS at basically any setting just makes things worse. Surfaces start getting that weird rippling effect, the image somehow gets even softer, and frame generation doesn’t seem to be doing what it is supposed to either. The bigger problem is how little control you actually have over any of this. Far too many graphical settings are hidden away because it’s UE5, and that really shouldn’t be considered normal anymore. If I want the game to look anything like the trailers, I already know where this is heading. Digging through ini files, downloading mods and manually disabling half the engine just to get a clear image that doesn’t give me a headache. The controls are exactly what you expect. If you’ve played one Soulslike, sorry, one “replayable action RPG with high risk, high reward missions”, you pretty much know what every button is going to do before the tutorial tells you. The parry system is where the combat has already started losing me. It is technically just a timed button press against the enemy animation, but the timing feels incredibly inconsistent. I’ve already reached the point where successfully parrying something feels less reliable than simply avoiding the mechanic entirely, which is not a great first impression for something the combat clearly wants you to engage with. Which is a shame because when you actually stop moving, the world genuinely looks interesting. There are some really nice environments here and visually it can look amazing when the image isn't smearing itself to death every time you touch the camera. The music has been good from what I've heard so far too, although the actual combat sounds feel weirdly limp and don't give attacks much weight. The other big combat mechanic is becoming an angel as what is essentially your ultimate ability. That sounds much cooler than it actually is. From what I've seen so far, you mostly get a palette change and start doing more damage. For something that should feel like this huge transformation, it is surprisingly underwhelming. There are things here I want to like, especially the world itself, but less than an hour in I'm already fighting the game and Unreal Engine 5 more than anything in it.
No KBM mapping ; Azerty doesn't work with 1 2 3 4 (as it is & é " ' in azerty) Mouse sensitivity locked Fullscreen windowed locked Hello, we are in 2026... that's insane...
Extremely buggy. And I mean it. It is the buggiest "full release" game I've played in a while. Lacks extremely basic features such as key remapping. The game doesn't explain anything. For hours you are confused about the equipment system, because there's exactly zero explanation on how it is supposed to work; and with the general bugginess, you have to guess whether the issue you are having is just an another bug. There are officially acknowledged issues with save corruption, therefore playing right now means you risk losing your progress. HDR is supported, but you can't change HDR settings. Aspect ratios higher than 16:9 are not supported.
I kept getting an error upon launch. I tried re-verifying the files and it didn't appear to do anything to fix it, as I kept getting the same error code. I also just read in other reviews that there is NO mouse and keyboard support? That's a no from me.
In this day and age i can NOT recommend a game that does NOT let you customize the controls, There is absolutely no reason for any developer, indy or AAA, not to let you customize your controls to your liking. It is because of this very reason I will not even try to play the game. So until a patch comes out that lets me customize my controls, I will NOT recommend this game nor will i even try to play it.
