Crawlco Block Knockers

I have fond memories of going to the arcade as a kid, so I'm glad I bought this game since its style and general gameplay remind me of several coin-ops that I enjoyed, and especially those forgotten "naughty" games such as [i]Gals Panic[/i], [i]Lady Killer[/i], [i]Splash![/i] etc., a concept that needs to make a comeback! I like that it's easy to pick up and play, but it takes practice to master it (again, just like many of the better arcade games) and get perfect completions. All in all, I quite liked the poppy/easy listening soundtrack and general graphic style that give the feeling of this game being some forgotten title from the 80s/90s (even the title "Crawlco Block Knockers" sounds like it's from some obscure Japanese game). Quite an enjoyable pastime, I wish we could get some additional levels or maybe even an add-on sequel!

Good music, gameplay, and art. Cheap as hell.

This game has such a fun and chill vaporwave aesthetic. The puzzles require both a mix of mechanical skill and quick thinking, that kept me and a few friends enthralled for hours into the night. The images are ok, but honestly the big draw for me is the puzzles and atmosphere. 9/10 super fun!

This game is soooooo hard to play.

Retro themed blocked puzzle game from a Shady publisher. There are also some nude pics. Interested? So you end up working in a warehouse pushing blocks into designated area. Once all are in place picture uncovers. The more meticulous your work is (no spillovers) the better the star rating. Optional enemies increase challenge. Four boss stages that are skippable also add some variety. Difficulty choice left to players, and not in the one-key-to-skip-them-all way infamously present in majority of puzzle games, contribute to my positive rating. Nothing really original but served in an interesting fashion. I enjoyed it more than not. The art sets the retro style. Both design and reward pics send such vibe. As for pics, don't expect more than occasional naked breasts; this ain't game's main selling point. Music matches the 80's, or about that, theme. Scarcity of tracks variety is a bit of a downside and monotony can occur but nothing should cause ear irritation. Simple, electronic sound effects also work well here. No bugs encountered. To conclude, a relatively uncommon, budget block puzzle with a retro vibe art and music. Good enough for an enjoyable session if you're into similar games. Can safely recommend: 5.2/10
