It's nice to see this game in VR! Just sit back and use a gamepad, for me playing with a gamepad made the controlles much more comfortable https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XNxAIwzu36E
Hidden gem! + Most issues I had with this game and my HTC Vive were fixed with the last patch. + For me it is worth the 10 bucks – we still come back playing it.
So if you like Jenga you'll probably like this game. The only real question for someone interested in this game, is whether the price point is justified. It's a tough call for me, especially at normal pricing, because although I did like the game and I enjoyed all the different levels. In the end, it's just Jenga. Actualy, this game is two different games. One is motion controller jenga with VR immersion. The other is a VR game where your motion controller acts like a gamepad and you're controlling a crane to push the blocks away (and it's just not as immersive). The first mode, you are using your motion controllers as your hands to push the blocks / containers. The odd part is that, even here, there's a little bit of a break from immersion. You're not really using your 'VR hands.' You're using your motion controllers as a mouse dot pointer which is where you can push blocks. I would have preferred to be able to use our hands as we would in real life, even if that meant the scales would be off. Just give us giant, slightly visible, transparent VR hands. Each stage has it's own unique twist. Each stage changes each time you play it. So no two games will ever play exactly the same, although they will play very similar. Also, you seem to get random powers assigned to your grip button. I think this game would be more fun with a party (local multiplayer). If the developer adds, online multiplayer then I will add a +1 to the rating. The crane VR game I did not really get into. Although, I guess it would be a nice option for a seated experience. Rating 6/10 the price seems a little high in my opinion for what you're getting, even if has some bells and whistle to the base game, still it's a fun game overall and better for casual playing with friends and family
one of the best VR game 2016.
Picked this up in the current Anniversay Sale and I'm finding it incredibly addictive. I've already played over 3 1/2 hours in two sessions on it. I'm currently playing it seated with an Xbox 360 gamepad, but there is a separate Hand mode for people who want to use Vive controllers though I haven't tried it myself yet to see how it plays. If you like puzzle type games and enjoy tricky skill challenges then I can highly recommend this game. For me it has that 'just one more go' element that many games are missing these days. It's even fun just watching the destruction that happens when you fail and the stack explodes!
A simple idea, executed extremely well. Really satisfying to play (especially in hand mode!)
Pretty simple, yet this is some of the most fun I've had in VR. Very polished game. I've already put more than 6 hours into this game and I can't stop until I get all the acheivements and 3-star all the levels. Well worth the $10.
slt à vous les gamers ... bon tout d'abord si vous etes du genre nerveux oublier ce jeux .... tres bon jeux mais casse tete javoue mais je l'adore le recommande tout meme bon jeux et bon pétage de plomb xd ;)
Stupidly difficult without VR but can see how it would be fun with some non VR camera controls
