In Arrow Sudoku, every puzzle contains a handful of "arrows" laid out in unique patterns. The numbers found along the shaft of the arrow must sum up to the number at the base. This simple rule leads to endless variety in the puzzles you will conquer.

This is the first of the sudoku games where I feel I have to not recommend. The puzzles were interesting at first but as soon as I got into the 20's, I started to be unable to follow the logic of the hints. The fact I see the same troubles in the forum does not help this. When I can't follow the logic and see how you're making the deductions you are, I get frustrated because it doesn't feel like I'm actually solving it, I'm just guessing and letting the error checker tell me if I'm wrong or not. I'm not sure if it's the difficulty curve or what but this one is definitely not as satisfying as the Thermo Sudoku and the Chess Sudoku sets. I found myself enjoying those a lot more and cannot recommend this one until it's cleaned up more than a little bit.
I loved this developer and jumped on every game they pushed out. Sadly updates ground to a halt some time ago and there are still 3 (I think?) titles that have either well and truly reached or nearly reached, the "regular updates to have 100 puzzles in the first year of launch" promise, this hasn't happened. This game is now 11 months old and it has not had a single update with no response from the devs. I don't follow their social media etc ... so perhaps there is a valid reason for this. The base pack is great but you will burn through them quickly and go insane checking your update queue every day for more. Trust me on that.

Arrow Sudoku, developed and published by Studio Goya, is a carefully crafted logic puzzle experience that takes the familiar structure of traditional sudoku and reshapes it through a single, elegant addition. Instead of relying solely on standard row, column, and subgrid rules, it introduces arrow-based constraints that require players to think in terms of relationships and sums, turning each puzzle into a more layered and mentally engaging challenge. The core idea is simple but transformative. Each puzzle still uses the classic 9×9 grid, but certain cells are connected by arrows, with the numbers along each arrow needing to add up to the value in the circle at its base. This rule changes how information is interpreted, forcing players to consider not just where numbers can go, but how they interact across multiple positions. It creates a constant interplay between arithmetic and logic, where solving one part of the puzzle often depends on understanding how it connects to another. The result is a puzzle style that feels both familiar and refreshingly different. One of the game’s strongest qualities is its progression. It does not overwhelm players with complexity right away, instead introducing the arrow mechanics gradually through early puzzles that are designed to teach the fundamentals. As players become more comfortable, the difficulty increases in a steady and deliberate way. Later puzzles demand a much deeper level of reasoning, often requiring players to hold multiple constraints in mind at once and carefully work through chains of deductions. This sense of growth is satisfying, as it feels like the game is actively developing the player’s problem-solving skills rather than simply presenting harder versions of the same challenge. The puzzles themselves are clearly handcrafted, and this attention to design is evident throughout. Each grid feels purposeful, with clues arranged in a way that encourages logical deduction rather than guesswork. There is a sense that every element has been placed with intention, creating solutions that unfold through reasoning rather than trial and error. This approach gives the game a level of polish that stands out, especially for players who appreciate well-constructed puzzles. Supporting this design is a clean and functional interface that makes complex problem-solving more manageable. Players have access to tools such as note-taking, highlighting, and error checking, all of which help track possibilities and refine deductions. These features are integrated in a way that feels natural, allowing players to focus on the puzzle itself rather than the mechanics of interacting with the game. Even as puzzles become more intricate, the interface remains clear and responsive. Visually, the game adopts a minimalist presentation that emphasizes clarity above all else. The grid is easy to read, and the arrow indicators are integrated seamlessly into the layout, ensuring that all necessary information is visible without clutter. Subtle visual effects add a touch of polish, but they never distract from the core experience. This restrained aesthetic reinforces the game’s focus on logic and concentration. The audio design follows a similar philosophy. Soft, unobtrusive music and gentle sound effects create a calm environment that supports extended periods of thought. The lack of intrusive audio elements helps maintain focus, making it easy to become fully absorbed in solving a puzzle. Where Arrow Sudoku may present a challenge is in its specificity. Its appeal is closely tied to its puzzle style, and players who are not already interested in sudoku or logic-based challenges may find it difficult to engage with. Additionally, the later stages can become quite demanding, requiring patience and persistence that may not suit more casual players. The difficulty is fair and well-designed, but it does not shy away from pushing players to think deeply. Ultimately, Arrow Sudoku is a refined and thoughtfully executed puzzle game that elevates a classic concept through a clever twist. It offers a rewarding experience for those willing to engage with its mechanics, delivering challenges that feel both fair and intellectually satisfying. While its focused design may limit its audience, it excels within its niche, providing a deep and engaging experience for players who enjoy methodical problem-solving. Rating: 8/10
If you are in this page there is a high chance that you already know about cracking the cryptic channel so you already ready to buy this one. But if you don't know about that channel, I definitely suggest to start from there, just watch some of the videos from the channel and get acquainted with Simon first. that would convince you about how intriguing, fun, challenging and exciting Sudoku puzzles could be! which honestly I couldn't imagine before watching the videos from Cracking the Cryptic. And about this game in particular, well this one has 40 different Sudoku puzzles with different difficulty levels and from different Sudoku constructors. I don't know if they are going to add more puzzles to the game in the future or not, but even right now the variety of the puzzles is excellent. (All the puzzles including Arrow logic but there are also knight rule, non consecutive rule, Sandwich Sudoku, etc. for keeping the game from becoming repetitive.
Puzzle #6 have 2 solutions. You can have 3 instead of 7 in r1c5.
Love this new take on Suduku
Basic sudko with extra steps ...
The puzzles are nice, the app is very slow. No complaints though to be honest.
