Reviews
An improved version of the first game. More maps and more character types. Story was pretty neat too. Overall a solid pick to play during the spooky season.
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Costume Quest 2 takes everything lovable from the original and dresses it up in even more charm, creativity, and good‑hearted fun. From the colourful neighbourhoods to the quirky characters, every moment in this game feels like a smiling autumn breeze full of candy, costumes, and goofy delight. Combat has that same clever twist — transforming into costume forms that are wildly imaginative and satisfying to use. Each costume feels unique and exciting, making every battle a joyful surprise rather than a chore. The strategic depth is just right: easy to pick up, rewarding to master, and always lighthearted. The writing is sharper, funnier, and packed with personality that never feels forced. Characters are delightful, conversations are laugh‑out‑loud funny, and the world itself feels alive with Halloween spirit. The story keeps you engaged with its warmth, humour, and charmingly playful twists. Visually, Costume Quest 2 is bright, expressive, and full of personality. The soundtrack perfectly complements the atmosphere — bouncy, upbeat, and brimming with seasonal cheer. If you love charming RPGs with heart, humour, and heaps of personality, Costume Quest 2 delivers in spades. 10/10 — adorable, clever, and a perfect Halloween blast.
Seguindo a mesma lógica do 1°, sigo achando um jogo bom para desestressar, não demanda muito neurônio embora demande mais do que o seu antecessor
Fun to play and unique story
TLDR: Better than the prior game in most regards. 8/10 Pro's. - Artstyle. Looks better and runs better than the prior game with more detail and variety. - Combat. Far better this time around with a little more depth. - Story. Going from "save the day" to "save the world". Still not anything original but it's still a classic, fun story. - Slightly more depth than the prior game. Enemies now have weaknesses, your costume matters more and even has it's own way of upgrading. Con's. - Length. Comes in at around 6 hours. The game is better overall than the prior title but it would've been better if the story spanned a little more. - Healing. In the first game you healed when combat was finished so you didn't have to slow down the pace. Now you need healing stations so backtracking is gonna be something that happens a lot and it just slows everything down. Honestly it feels far better than the prior game. Hits 60fps, has more depth and more challenge. 8/10
Another cute game from this series, once again sad that there was never a third installment.
