Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Aug 22 → 2.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
More than ten years of development have shaped Coromon into a complete 30+ hour monster-taming RPG. Catch and train more than 120 Coromon, master strategic battles, and explore a handcrafted world packed with memorable places and details to discover.
Coromon Remastered optimizes the entire journey for PC, with a presentation designed for larger screens. Clearer menus and battle details make everything easier to understand at a glance, while mouse-hover information and quick battle actions make every interaction faster and more natural.
Your first day as a Battle Researcher for Lux Solis should've been straightforward, receive your first Coromon and begin investigating Velua’s six Titans. But when outsiders wielding an element unknown to science attack a laboratory, your assignment becomes something far more dangerous.
Travel through six distinct biomes, each with its own challenges and mysteries. Begin among the fields around Hayville, then journey to a thunderous city, through a haunted swamp, into a guarded desert palace, beneath a volcano, and across frozen mountains toward ancient ruins.
Between your main objectives, meet the people who call Velua home, help solve their problems, and leave the path for side quests, secrets, and minigames. Upgrade your Gauntlet to open blocked routes and reveal hidden items, then take to the water as even more of the world opens around you.
More than raw power! Build your Squad around Skills, Traits, and held items. Then adapt to entry hazards, weather, and status effects to outsmart any opponent you meet, whether it's a wild Coromon, rival Battle Researchers, or a mighty Titan.
Master a stamina-based battle system where every Skill costs energy. Spend too much and your Coromon will need to rest, giving its opponent an opening.
Hunt for rare Potent and Perfect Coromon. Their distinctive colors make them stand out, and they can earn additional bonus stat points which you can distribute yourself.
Evolve a Coromon for higher base stats, or keep it unevolved and enhance its Trait with additional or stronger effects.
As you track down each Titan, the scope of your mission grows. Every region brings a new crisis, an unexpected discovery, and another clue to the outsiders’ plans. Cross paths with new allies, survive dangerous expeditions, and venture into places no Battle Researcher was ever meant to reach.
As the pieces connect, you uncover a power capable of changing Velua’s natural order. And by the end of your journey, only one question matters: who, or what, is really in control?
Coromon lets you shape the adventure around the way you want to play.
Looking for a relaxed playthrough? Make shops and recovery more forgiving, or reduce the pressure of battle and focus on exploring Velua, building your squad and following the story.
Looking for higher stakes? Combine built-in Randomizer settings with configurable difficulty rules to change encounters, trainers, Skills, Traits, items, evolutions and even the order of the Titans.
Create the Battle Researcher you want to be with a wide selection of outfits, hairstyles, facial hair, headgear and colors.
Give your Coromon new looks with unlockable Skins earned through collecting, battles, side quests, minigames and other gameplay challenges.
Continue beyond the story in the endless Battle Dome, where Coromon Rush, Trainer Rush and Titan Rush challenge you to see how far your squad can go. Test your strategies against other players in ranked, casual or custom 3v3 and 6v6 battles.

A really solid Pokemon alternative. The short is that it has some flaws but excels in most areas. Highly recommended for those that are sick of the slop that Nintendo has been putting out. I'll start with how the game looks. It's a great mix of GBA and DS Gen 5 Pokemon. The animations and backgrounds are well done, and the animated sprites are straight out of Gen 5. The various designs are good. Compared to Nexomon, these are a bit more grounded and less wacky overall. I'll say that certain mons are a lil samey, but this game doesn't have the army of artists and feedback that Pokemon designs have. The look of the overworld is straight out of GBA Pokemon. Dynamic and vibrant sprites galore. NPCs look ok. Nothing special. The ways you can customize your character are numerous, which is nice. Lots of accessories to collect. The core gameplay loop, if I have to compare it to Pokemon, is the closest to Sun and Moon/Ultra Sun and Moon. Instead of having gym leaders or something equal to that, you go around the overworld catching mons and fighting trainers like usual, but with the big goal being encountering and defeating titans. Powerful elementals that act as interesting boss fights. Instead of the totem Pokemon in Alola, which felt extremely cheap when fighting them, the titans here are big health bars that summon weather, use entry hazards, etc. It's essentially like fighting a full team in terms of how much health you have to chew through. Much more interesting than one weirdly balanced totem mon that either one shots your entire team or gets obliterated because you incidentally have the perfect counter. There's a mechanic that I love in this game: potential. Every mon has a number, up to 21. 1-16 is normal, 17-20 is potent, and 21 is perfect. Normal have the standard color, potent have an alternate color, and perfect have another different color. You can give a mon to an NPC in the game that will give it +1 potential. Giving +1 to a mon with 20 will make it perfect. Yes, these are like shinies. The encounter rates are much higher than shiny Pokemon, and these have a gameplay impact. The higher the number a mon has, the faster a separate blue exp bar fills up. This bar, when filled up, grants you 3 potential points that you can manually assign to any stat (with some cap limitations depending on level). A perfect mon will max this bar much faster, allotting many more stat points for the endgame. Around 1/4 to 1/3 of my playtime was spent farming for perfects. This is the best part of the game. The overworld is linear, which I normally heavily dislike in the mainlike Pokemon games. Ever since Unova, each region became a circle, a straight line, or a combination of the two. This overworld goes like this: area 1 to area 2, then to area 3, etc. There's stuff to find in each area, but there aren't entire side areas here. Each area has its own theme, which covers each type in the game, so to speak. Electric, ghost, sand, fire, ice, and water. Each area has most of the mons matching the type, and has some kind of puzzle unique to each area (kinda). Which leads me to a bit of a rant. The puzzles in this game range from good to awful. One of the first puzzles in the game requires you to match 4 plugs in the perfect socket. If you confirm the wrong combination enough times, the correct combination will change. In addition, the NPC controlling the puzzle will mess with you and the puzzle. In theory, it sounds good, but in execution, it is awful. Other puzzles are much better. Some might not consider this one a puzzle, but at some point, you are forced to fight a copy of your current team. Same level, same stats, same everything. Good "puzzle". There's another fight that asks you to catch 3 mons in the wild, and then battle a trainer with a slight advantage over you. No time to train or teach the mons new moves. Just a raw fight. That "puzzle" was also really good. The other puzzles in the game aren't as good, but depending on your tastes and experiences, you might endure. The overall balance of the game is a mixed bag. On one hand, the low amount of types theoretically tightens the balance. On another hand, there are sub types that are exclusive to moves. Types like foul, poison, air and magic are only on moves, which can make some mons wayyyy better than others if they can learn said moves. There's another type, which I won't talk about much since spoilers for the story, but it is just better. Think of a type that resists everything and has other unique benefits. I'm torn on it, since it's fun to use as the player, but is annoying to fight against, since you essentially do half damage to anything with that type. Mons have a big selection of traits (abilities) that have tons of effects. Thankfully, there's an NPC that can change traits for you. Yes, you can pick the new trait. It isn't random. If it was, whew that would suck. Traits range from summoning weather, to weather immunity, to taking less damage when at full health, to dealing more damage with a certain skill type, to being immune to certain status problems. There's a lot, and each mon has 3-5 traits ish. My favorite is one where a mon can do an out of battle party heal, which has a cooldown that ticks down while in battle and in the overworld. Stuff like that is much more complex than Pokemon. Held items are also really good, and there's even one that can upgrade your trait. The general recommendation I make is: get it if you like Pokemon but are sick of the newer slop, and don't get it if you're still really like newer Pokemon games. I think this is for those who like everything from 9/10+ years ago in that series. Those who want something similar, better and new. The puzzles can be annoying but the core experience is really good.

its game makes me happy
It's really fun, I love the style and the creatures, the type matchups are unique and interesting, and it made me feel nostalgic with the classic turn based gameplay with amazing pixel art. Highly recommend for any fans of the genre
REVIEW WRITTEN BEFORE REMASTERED UPDATE
Decent attempt at a GBA like monster catcher with some nice QoL like battle/text speed up, access to the players PC Box where and whenever. No missable Coromon
minus one skin variant
, no double battles, you get the option to 'FLY' pretty early on too. If you want a casual Pokémon clone, with low stakes Coromon does the job pretty well. Story is.. Whatever. It serves it's purpose to move you to the next location but at least doesn't get in the way too much. There's also no Legendaries to catch which is a shame but I guess this means your more inclined to just try out your other captures instead of maxing out one 'mon. Our biggest issue was these annoying "puzzle sections". Fail a stealth one of these or get hit by a rolling object and it takes you back a couple of steps. Doesn't sound too bad but this just slows the pace down unnecessarily and becomes frustrating when you're playing at 2x speed. Luckily not too many of these and you can save your progress at will. 124 monsters for a full dex, Coromon presents it's Shinies differently (better imo) than PKMN. There's Potents (1 in every 35) and Perfects (1 in every 3194). You'll see a visual change but also their nameplate will tell you. Both have better stats than their base creature with Perfect being the Shiny. Unlike PKMNs shiny hunting you could have great stats and a rubbish Trait. Coromons will always be better than their base and if you don't like their Traits.. Well there's story progression for that. Seen Credits to Normal difficulty but there is a Hard and a Randomizer mode built in: Official Coromon Wiki (Not Fandom) Just checked the discussions page on the off chance and some users are saying they've lost some progress to crashes - I didn't experience any problems but YMMV - Best bought on offer or with a bundle to sweeten the deal if you're not sure.
