Fun game but very linear. Got stuck on a few puzzles and also was also on edge because of the slightly creepy atmosphere.
This game is a fun but short trip from the early days of VR. The game goes in stages, where you travel for a bit, then stop and solve a puzzle or two to allow travel again. This way, the type of actions you perform alternate, so you aren't stuck doing one thing. The puzzles are simple enough that you don't get frustrated, and early on used the VR controls fairly well. The game is not long, which means it doesn't overstay it's welcome. Keep in mind that it's short to determine if the price is right for you. I thought it was, but that's a subjective call. Overall, a nice and short VR game, fun while it lasts.
Ein Mega schönes Spiel, 100 Minuten und durchgespielt., Dafür sind 10 Euro wirklich zu viel. Für so ein Spiel wären maximal 5 Euro gut, aber nicht mehr.
And another fun gem from Overflow! While Abode 2 is more advanced, this might be my favorite from a world-building perspective. I felt so alone and desperate on my train ride, all alone in the night. There were wonderful Portal vibes to the whole thing, too - but wrapped in a steampunk, retro setting. Thank you, Overflow - I'll be waiting for whatever VR treasure follows Abode 2.
Conductor is a pretty fun, albeit easy and incredibly short VR puzzle adventure. Not sure what my cost of entry originally was, but $10 is about as high as I would go for this one. One and a half hours seems to be the average time to take everything in and there isn't anything in the way of replayabilty to bring you back when you're done. Not a lot going on in the way of story and world building but what's there is adequate. That said, I did really enjoy the puzzles and while super simple there was something nice about getting your little train up to full speed.
Game was probably fun 5 years ago but with where VR is right now... Its just hard for me to recommend a game that only has teleportation movement and no joystick turning or anythings. Sucks cuz its a good idea and I want to play this game but cant enjoy it without some modernization.
fun little game. You only spend like 5 to 10% on the train though, the rest is solving puzzles
Pleasant surprise. Picked it up for a few bucks and had a really great time. It's short, but that's ok, the cheaper price reflects that. The graphics are super simple, but everything looks very moody because of the sparse lighting. Well balanced puzzles, not too hard, not too easy. A great application of what a VR game can be.
Nice immersive game with some cool puzzles, but wait for a sale or get it in a bundle, since it's about 2 hours long, the graphics aren't that good and it's teleport only, you can't even turn with a controller, you have to physically turn yourself around, which can be kinda troublesome with wired headsets. And they *definitely* could have done a better ending, they didn't even try. Works fine with the Reverb G2.
mm train :)
