About
Conan Exiles Enhanced is an Open World Survival game set in the mythical lands of Conan the Barbarian. In single-player, co-op, or persistent multiplayer, you must learn to survive the wilds of Hyboria before building your own home or even a shared city. Survive freezing cold temperatures, explore loot-filled dungeons, develop your character from scavenging survivor to mighty barbarian and powerful sorcerer, and fight to dominate your enemies in epic siege wars.
Conan Exiles Enhanced includes a free Unreal Engine 5 upgrade that offers enhanced visuals, improved performance, and a more integrated world.
After Conan himself saves your life by cutting you down from the corpse tree, you must quickly learn to survive. Weather scouring sandstorms, shield yourself from intense temperatures and hunt animals for food and resources. Explore a vast and seamless world, from the burning desert in the south to the snow-capped mountains of the north.
Forge the legacy of your clan as you fight to reclaim and dominate the Exiled Lands. Use the powerful building system to create anything from a small home to entire cities piece by piece. Wage war using swords, sorcery, bows, and siege weapons, even taking control of giant avatars of the gods to crush the homes of your enemies in epic battles.
Conan Exiles Enhanced brings the entire game into Unreal Engine 5 with significantly improved visuals across environments, characters, lighting, and effects. It unifies eight years of content into a single upgraded experience, connects The Exiled Lands with the Isle of Siptah, boosts performance to target 60+ FPS on most PCs, improves Steam Deck play, adds numerous quality‑of‑life upgrades, and introduces a redesigned UI.
Dress well or light a campfire to stay warm and make sure to cool yourself down in the heat. Hunt, cook, eat, and drink to stay alive. Build a shelter to weather scouring sandstorms. Be careful when exploring darkened ruins or you might become corrupted by foul sorcery.
Harvest resources to craft tools and weapons, then build anything from a small home to entire cities piece by piece using a powerful building system. Place traps, elevators, and defenses, then deck out your creations with furniture, crafting stations, and more.
Carve out your piece of the Exiled Lands, taking it from other players if you must! Build siege weapons and use explosives to break down the walls of your enemy’s city. Place traps, recruit thralls, and build defenses to keep your enemies from invading you.
Discover insidious sorceries and corrupt your body to wield them. Special perks are awarded to those who give up a portion of their life force. Sacrifice thralls to summon demons and the undead and bend them to your will. Conjure darkness, soar the skies on winged monstrosities, and call down lightning to strike your foes.
Journey through a massive and seamless open world, from the rolling sand dunes of the southern desert to the mysterious eastern swamp and the snow-capped mountains of the frozen north. Climb anywhere and experience full freedom of exploration.
Fight vicious monsters and other players using an action-oriented, combo-based combat system. Dodge, block, and learn to master the true art of combat to become the greatest fighter in the Exiled Lands. Slay using bows, daggers, swords, axes, and more.
Enslave the criminals of the Exiled Lands and make them join your cause and defend your territory. Put them through the grueling Wheel of Pain to break their will, then turn them into archers, fighters, crafters, entertainers, and more.
From the Black Keep in the north to the Dregs along the southern river, discover the ruins of ancient civilizations and solve their mysteries to gain access to their treasure. Uncover the history of the Exiled Lands you as you explore, uncover lore, and meet NPCs.
Alight yourself with one of four deities such as Derketo, the goddess of lust and death. Bring your sacrifices to the altar of your god then summon and take control of their huge, towering avatar. Crush enemies and entire buildings under your avatar’s feet.
Play alone locally or fight for survival and dominance in persistent multiplayer on public servers. You can also host your own server and invite others to join you in a world where you have full control of the rules and settings. Want to play with just handful of friends? Try co-op mode!
When playing alone locally or on a server you are the administrator of your world, with access to a range of in-game tools. Change your progression speed, spawn monsters, turn yourself invisible, deactivate avatars, and much more. Be the dungeon master of your own server.

I am sad to write this but I do not recommend this game anymore. I have over 2000 hours on PS4 and I really enjoyed this game until the battle pass and bazaar came. Those two things really killed it for me. I love building and decorating but new building items are now behind a huge paywall. I was eager to buy the DLCs back then... But now all new items are being sold in a stupid in game menu that you have to buy a currency then buy the items separately. If you like a style you have to piece it all together the cost is double or quadrupled than what the DLCS used to cost. On top of all that its set on a timed rotation and if you miss it when it comes out you have to wait weeks or months till it comes around again but you don't even know when you just have to keep checking the menu every 3-6 days. This is unacceptable, stupid, and predatory. If you buy this game do so only on sale and don't touch the bazaar.
Getting back into the game after 5 years of not playing, I was really excited to experience the new content! Everything was fine in Noob River. After a few hours (around level 15), we decided to head North and build our first base around E9-F9. While looking for useful Thralls at Trapper's Cabin, we noticed that the Jailor Taskmaster always spawns there, and he can drop Epic Steel Weapons and Armor. At first, we thought it was just a bug with this specific NPC, but later we discovered that even random T1 mobs can drop insane gear as well. After doing some research, we found out that Funcom changed the loot system a few years ago. So, is there any point in farming materials for Iron and Steel tools anymore? We can simply keep farming mobs over and over again, and before we know it, we already have a full Epic set. From my point of view, this change removed the "survival" aspect from Conan Exiles. Yes, I know this complaint is kind of late since Funcom changed the loot system a long time ago. Yes, I know there is a balanced loot mod from Xevyr. Yes, I know this kind of loot system is aimed more toward the PvP player base. But OMG, can we at least have a setting like "Loot system before/after AoW"? I honestly feel bad recommending this game to my friend group during this Steam Summer Sale because of this change.
I tried all the options, but to no avail. This game made me so motion sick I filled up a bucket.
money hungry devs finding any way to claw the max amount of money from players by selling a 20 dollar dlc for 90 dollars through their fomo shop and not allowing none buyer players to use it if their friends cave and buy it for the group, vile behavior that will hurt a game that's managed to last this long
Headline: Brilliant, brutal, and beautifully addictive (with one annoying quirk) I’ve put 36 hours (and counting) into Conan Exiles Enhanced over the last couple of weeks, and to put it simply: I am hooked. The UE5 visual overhaul breathes so much life into the world, making exploration and survival feel incredibly immersive. The combat feels weighty, the progression is satisfying, and the gameplay loop is pure "just five more minutes" addiction. The Good: Incredibly atmospheric and gorgeous world. Deep, rewarding survival and crafting mechanics. Highly addictive progression that keeps you coming back. The Bad: The building mechanics can be a major test of patience. Because there is no terraforming feature to level out the land, trying to build a base on uneven terrain is a massive headache. You’ll spend way too much time trying to trick the snapping system into working with a hill. Verdict: Even with the building frustrations, this is easily one of the best survival experiences out there right now. It’s brutal, it’s addicting, and it’s well worth your time.
Clunky, bug ridden and lackluster. Oh, and also very expensive with the mountains of DLC. I was unimpressed.
Great base game, as long as you play in co-op or a private server with good admins. BUT, and this is a huge problem going back a while now and getting worse, the prices for the "bazaar" stuff is obscene. The most recent batch of "Vendhyan" cultural items runs about $100 (split up between different packs to help them obscure it). That's right, 10x the cost of any of the DLC cultural packs, enough to buy two new games. It's predatory pricing and there's no sign that it'll get anything but worse.
I’ve been playing Conan Exiles since the Alpha days, back when half the map was held together with duct tape and optimism. Where the noobs river was the main place for gatherings and the crocs were flying around us. After a four‑year break, I decided to give it another go especially with this new enhanced versions. Went on my home server - 1036 - PvE-C. Lovely community. Unfortunately, the gameplay experience itself feels like a time capsule from 2018 — and not in a nostalgic way. Rubberbanding, latency spikes, and server desync are so severe that 20–25 players online is enough to make the entire server behave like it’s running on a solar‑powered potato. It’s astonishing that after so many years, these issues remain not only present but seemingly untouched. At this point, the performance problems feel less like bugs and more like long‑standing features. Whether the root cause is outdated netcode, underpowered hosting, or a combination of both, the result is the same: a game that struggles to function under conditions that should be entirely normal for a modern online title. Given the amount of monetisation added over the years, it’s difficult not to interpret the lack of server improvements as a kind of corporate performance art — a commitment to maintaining the exact same problems across multiple eras of development. It’s almost impressive, in a tragic way. The consistency is remarkable. At this moment, paying £94.96 with 20% off it's a rip off.
