About

Company of Heroes 3: Final Stand introduces an all-new standalone wave defense experience, delivering thrilling, highly-replayable Company of Heroes gameplay. This standalone experience does not require you to own any previous Company of Heroes titles, making it easy for you to jump straight into the action and have fun, whether you’re a longtime fan or a new player.

Prepare to dig in, build layered defenses, and survive against escalating waves of enemy forces across 12 increasingly difficult rounds, including intimidating bosses and dynamic battlefield events unique to Final Stand.

Featuring a roguelite progression system, players construct a custom battlegroup from the ground up suited to their style of play. After each wave, choose between randomized units or abilities that persist for the duration of the run, ensuring that no two playthroughs feel the same.
Persistent upgrades like powerful perks and unique abilities will be unlocked between runs across faction-specific progression trees. These upgrades meaningfully change how each faction plays, encouraging experimentation, long-term mastery, and repeat play at higher levels.

Final Stand captures the classic Company of Heroes feeling of those pivotal moments where when faced with overwhelming odds, preparation, adaptability, and decisive command determine survival.

its honestly fun but just after awhile it gets boring like 25-30 dollars for a one game mode, clone of the main game and the skins are the same price of the game itself . where you can spend 60 dollars to get so much more. would not buy
Unfortunately it is not as good as I was thinking it was going to be. Camera is locked, options are limited within the game mode, everything is .... lacking content. To me this should have been a free DLC.

I'm a big COH fan, played a lot of COH 1, and did some decent times on 2 and 3. When I found out about this DLC (let's be honest, this is NOT a game worth 20€+...), I had high hopes, since COH is a great game by itself. Let's start with the good: - The COH vibes are there - If you need a quick defense game, this is perfect for it - I can see Coop being a blast, didn't try it yet though - Easy to pick up - And that's about it.... :( The bad: - Content 404 not found. Having 5 map + endless on a couple of difficulties is not content. - The AI is dumb, painstakingly so. It's like they spawn in with an attack the HQ and everything in between command, and that's it... - The perk system feels random at some times... - Roguelite is reeeealy LITE. That perk system feels like nothing - You can't even rotate the camera? - The card system being the "build your own team" feels like a bad joke... This would be a great game for 10-15€, but 25€+ is not it...
A very underwhelming addition to the troubled story of CoH3 that is far too overpriced for the content on offer at any level. Many of the upgrades are too similar, there are too few units and upgrades, and the maps are also too few and uninspired. I would firmly suggest you stay away from any prices above $20.
Do NOT buy this game at full price. The amount of content or lack of it in this game is outrageous. The game should cost no more than 10 Euros.
This is nothing but a cheap cashgrab. Looks and plays like there was no thought put into this. 5 maps, "coop" with one player and the most basic roguelike elements for 30€... Not even mod support. You could do most of this with some modding back in CoH1.
This mode is the most fun I've had in this game since release. Every stand you make differs from the last one. Some of the synergies you can create with the passives are insane, sometimes you get screwed over by having to choose between two or three worthless abilities or units. All the randomness has lead to some truly entertaining games, even when losing. This is just one big sandbox, basically. The perk system makes you feel like a God of Company of Heroes once you get some decent points into it and change the entire meta every few games. All the naysayers comparing this to CoH1 mods have not played this game yet, or left a review after less than an hour of playtime. They do not know what they are talking about. 'Lelic' did a great job mixing things up with this one. The price tag being on par with battlegroups is justified, as this mode brings more fresh gameplay to the table than 4 new BGs do.
I am not a fan of Company of Heroes 3. I was a hardline Company of Heroes 2 and 1 enjoyer and I just wasn't too interested in what I thought was too much of a cartoony vibe I got from 3. I however always enjoy coop defenses in almost every RTS I have played with my friends and a game built around the concept is highly enjoyable to me. I understand the sentiment about this game and how it probably should have just been a DLC but for someone who does not own CoH 3 I found the experience really enjoyable. I like having to choose random units. It gives me Starcraft 2 Coop Commanders feel and I loved that. Hopefully the devs do not let this game die due to mixed reception as I feel like more maps and maybe units further down the line would be awesome. I would also love workshop content in the future to allow players to add more maps or fix the really cramped camera.
