About
Nika has just finished the first phase of her plan to destroy everything that isn't cool: the construction of a combat mecha called MechaNika. There's no time to lose, so join forces with her, get your hands on MechaNika's controls and demolish the entire planet. You have to put an end to history books, planned obsolescence, kitschy dresses, never-ending sagas of boring video games and pea soup.
And if there's someone in the world that hates vegetables more than Nika, it's her friend Agatha, the insomniac butcher and prophetess of Carnivorism that loves animals and their succulent meat in equal measure. That's why, when she learns of the objectives of Nika's plan, she doesn't hesitate to join the mission of destruction alongside the Great Bleeding Pig, god of Carnivorism, to subdue any grass-eating, non-believers that get in the way.
But watch out, because along the way you'll realise that Nika and Agatha are not the only ones that have a plan to change the world, and not everything's as simple as it might have seemed at the start. You'll have to make some tough and irreversible decisions to achieve your objectives, or renounce them.

I love all the stuff by Mango Protocol :) Fun characters, stories, and plot twists. This one is mainly a beat-em up brawler, but with other styles of game play (shmup, platforming) to break up the repetition. The special abilities are fun to use and the entire story is a long social commentary on our current world and overall human satire. There are decision trees throughout the game meaning different outcomes and impacts. So far, one play through has taken 5 hours to get through. Have not tried coop yet. Highly recommend even though I prefer their usual point-and-click genre.

Un magnífico "cierre?" a la trilogía de las Psychotic Girls. Un cambio de estilo, pero no de tono. Si os gustó Mechanika o Agatha Knife jugad a Colossus Down.
Me encantó! aunque cuando lo jugué en su momento, las hitbox eran algo imposible y aún hay que pulir el tema de los combos, pero en sí, muy buen juego.

Destroyer here ! Je recommande aux personnes qui voudraient découvrir la suite des aventures de Nika. Pour l'histoire, pour l'univers, c'est tellement attachant. Mais pas du tout pour les amateurs de jeu de baston. Le gameplay m'a ennuyé d'une force. Je sortais d'une série de 3 jeux du genre : Mother Russia, SOR4 et River City Girls, tous les 3 excellents. Ça n'a peut-être pas aidé, parce que je n'ai jamais vraiment pris plaisir à jouer à Colossus Down. Les personnages sont variés, mais au fond, ils ont tous les mêmes attaques. En dehors des boss, j'ai eu l'impression d'avoir 3 ou 4 types d'ennemis seulement. À ce sujet, ceux qui tirent à distance sont vraiment pénibles. Que ce soit les flics, les petites fées ou les types cagoulés, ils m'ont tous mis la rage. Et cette impression d'être dans un truc qui manque de punch, de nervosité. Mais en y réfléchissant, c'était exactement le type de jeu qu'il fallait pour raconter la suite des aventures de Nika (et Agatha). Et il y a trop de trucs drôles et cool pour que je mette un pouce vers le bas. Cet univers est génial. Le dessin est superbe. J'adhère pour le scénario (qui nous laisse parfois le choix) J'espère que ce n'est pas la dernière fois qu'on reverra ces personnages. Je les ai dans mon cœur <3

6. Colossus Down de @MangoProtocol (#SteamDeck). No hay 2 sin 3, así que tenía q seguir con la saga psicótica. Este Read 'em up va in crescendo nivel a nivel, un no parar de referencias, sarcasmo y humor a raudales. Además es un buen juego ¿Qué más se le puede pedir a Nika?
