This game is superb, SaGa FINAL FANTASY LEGEND. It's three games at once. FINAL FANTASY LEGEND I is about going through the towers to different world, like in Stephen King, the Tower books, wiith guns in the game. Only to find out that the boss to slaughter was creation of god who wanted to test humanity. FINAL FANTASY LEGEND II is about realms of gods like Odin, Apollo or Aphrodite only to find out that the pieces of artyfacts called MAGI are beeing accumulated, for one purpose only, to creat new world for one of the gods. While in the middle of the game, there is Aprodith's city of only beautiful people, who are cast to exile if they have sligthest ugliness, like scar over some part on the body. It all starts with players dad disapiring for quest of serch, and not coming back for years, so that the player goes out on adventure to find him. FINAL FANTASY LEGEND III is about time travele, to past and future. And destroing monsters like from horrror movie/game/book. And finding out that player oneself's proposes name for himself to his own father, in the past, at the very end of game. There is starship that you can use in game. All this is so nice game, you can chose to play human, mutan(that are of magic), robot/cyborg, and monster, that evoles, or changes, afther eating carrion. You can use melee weapons or guns, and tanks, as weapon. You can hit one enemy or grup of them. Games slowly progress into more and more densed battles. Creatures are from different mythological lore, and sf, and much more, meking me feel like I play in all in Wolrd. Like real one. This is the oldest RPG I have ever payed. On steam, the remake is wonderfull, first time I am able to play GameBoy green scren,black ink on steam/pc. : D This is grand finale, you have all the fantastic creatures and doors into new realms, like Babylon god El Door that turned into Tower Babel, that twisted minds, and later became harlot Babylon sitting on scarlet dragon. Je n'ai pour le moment joué qu'au premier volet de la SaGa pour environs 10h de jeu et ce que je peux dire c'est que, même si les jeux ont beaucoup vieilli (on est quand même sur Game boy) cela reste vraiment plaisant à jouer. L'aventure est simple mais efficace. Si vous n'aimez pas passer des heures à farmer des monstres pour quelques pièces d'or, passez votre chemin car contrairement aux Final fantasy classique (ou tout autre RPG), ce ne sont pas les combats qui vous feront devenir plus fort ou résistant mais bien votre argents (J'ai choisi une équipe d'humain pour cette partie). L'équipement et les améliorations achetée en magasins seront votre seul et unique moyen d'avancer. Perso, ça ne me gêne pas, si vous êtes dans le même cas que moi, le jeu devrait vous plaire, sinon, dépenser votre monnaie dans un autre titre.

Habe die ersten beiden auf dem Gameboy und später im Emulator gesuchtet. Machen auch jetzt noch Spaß.

a competent port of the first three SaGa games from the ol' b/w brick Gameboy. great games, though i agree with a lot of reviewers that waiting for a sale is smart. nothing really negative to say about it, though i do think it would be cool, and a little more worth the price, if there were color modes/filters to emulate the palettes a Gameboy Color would have given us (hint hint devs.) top tier games from the era, important pieces of history.

I recommend it, but only if you're into retro stuff. I am, and a single third of it was enjoyable. Oh, and the individual games are... really short, the long thing applies to the trilogy as a whole (even then it's debatable, since it wasn't long for me (probably because I dropped two of them, about half the playtime comes from 2))

It's pretty obvious that these games are supposed to come with instruction manuals, I wish they were included in some form. Aside from that, this is a really good port!
