Weyrdlets 2.0 : Desktop Pets

I got this for free before this became a paid game, but I am reviewing this more for people who are looking to buy it as it is now paid. I understand that the game is supposed to be a creature collector desktop idler, but I found it to have too much complexity that defeated the purpose of it being an idle game. I felt like I was engaging in an active game (that felt very much like a mobile game) as opposed to what I expected. I did enjoy the chill music, but this just isn't my cup of tea. If you can get this for free, there is no harm to owning the game. Otherwise it just feels like something that tries to be everything, yet falls short at all of them.

People should know more about this game. It's productive to have this game if you are WFH, you can add task list and it encourage you to complete you task, it have timer for having short break and work time, wellness check, multiply bgms and so on. I grew up with virtual pet desktop in the past so this kinda brings some nostalgia for me. I haven't gone thru a lot of features in the game tho, I would mostly use for working and having pets on desktop but I do know the game is going for community friendly where I think you can play with friends and use it on stream. I do use it for streaming to, it has twitch intergration, which I only know about it after I run the game.

Weyrdlets was a free game and is now a paid game. My review will be based on the past and current look and feel of the game. Back when i got Weyrdlets it was small, fun, idle game to have on my pc. A small little creature that would roam around my desktop or a little ingame world with a house you could decorate. I quiet liked it and thought it was amazing and cute to have (Back then there weren't a lot of desktop pet games yet.). Since those days the developers haven't stopped working on the game and its community. Many updates later we now have a paid version 2.0. The base game is still the same but now is more polished and contains more content. You have a couple of different worlds to play mini games in and you can play online multiplayer as well. I do feel like there still needs to be some improvement or tweaks with the free roaming spaces and movement of the Weyrdlets. Knowing how dedicated the devs have been to this game, this will probably be looked at and changed. There are DLC's for this game but personally i don't have them. I recommend this game to players that like a small, cozy and not that intense of a game to just relax or unwind to.

Great game. Fun, great characters, great designs. Great activities.

One of my favorite productivity tools :) I hope Steam lifts the profile feature limits soon though, that’s my only issue with it. I’ve played Ropuka, Tiny Farm, and Little Aviary, but the features in this game are better for studying/WFH. Pros: + adjustable Pomodoro timer + non-invasive desktop buddy + highly customizable

Çok hoş bir oyun hele petlerin çıkardığı sesler aşırı komik ve tatlı oyunda petlerle yapabileceğiniz çok fazla şey var oyun oynuyon petinle, yiyip içiriyon ,sıçtırıyon, duş aldırıyon,aksesuar takıyon ayrıca gün gün nasıl hissettiginizi oyuna kaydedebiliyorsun, pomodoro ve to do list gibi widgetlarda var ders çalışmak için indirmiştim fakat uygun bir uygulama olmadı benim için dehb iseniz petinizin sağ sola koşması,kazı yapması,sorular sorması ve agu bugu sesleri cikarmasi dikkatinizi dagitabilir, peti oturtup sabitleyebiliyosun ama öyle bir oturuyor ki psikolojik olarak üzülüyorsun gezsin dolaşsın toprağı budasın istiyosun, arka planı görmezden gelmek zor oluyor oyun level atladıkca size farklı farklı şeyler sunuyor normal desktop pet oyunlardan farkı bence masaüstünden-oyuna geçişi ve petin çıkardığı sesler birde yayıncılar için güzel özellikler eklemişler

Free pet game that worth for some days of fun, after that you could uninstall it.
