Cold Shell

Cold Shell is a surprisingly fun game. I was expecting some good entertainment but it exceeded that throughout my play through. I am unsure about the replay value because I am unlikely to come back for a month or so to play through again so I'll find out then but overall It is an engaging game throughout. The controls are easy to understand but has a high skill ceiling making the game rewarding to anyone willing to put in the time to get good at the mechanics. The tutorial is intuitive and it has a steep but fair difficulty curve once you get past the first quarter of the game. I did however run into a few minor bugs but they all occurred in the menu and were annoying but overall didn't affect the game play. The bug is weird, it is on and off whether it occurs or not but again doesn't detract from the main appeal of the game. I am not somebody who usually plays these kinds of games but it does (as other reviews have pointed out) remind me a lot of Hotline Miami which I played the heck out of that game when I was younger so this at times felt nostalgic. Overall a very entertaining nine hours of game play and most definitely worth the money. I will most certainly come back to play through this again at some point. 9/10

Мне понравился сюжет, очень прикольно вышло разрабы молодцы, музыка в финальных титрах восхитительна, Отсылки супер, моя любимая призрак в доспехах. Есть и минусы нашел у боссов, в 3 акте можно за контейнер спрятаться, финальный босс просто ни чего не мог мне сделать(баг или фича не знаю) жаль короткая.

Really an underrated gem with a diverse and interesting world, a unique storyline, and a soundtrack that bumps harder than the red devil herself. The artwork is fantastic and with a few small exceptions there is nothing I would see changed. It's well-worth the time to play in its entirety.
