Literally identical to a game called Incredicer that released just two months ago, except it looks & runs worse. And guess what? Names for some achievements [strike](none of which work, BTW)[/strike] are exactly the same to Incredicer. It's curious that in a game where you're flipping coins, there are cheevos for unlocking different dice when there are are no dice present whatsoever. ...cough, cough... I thought 2025's glut of games ripping off Nodebusters was an awful trend. This game's "inspiration" takes that to a whole new level. Edit: Achievements work after a patch; they're still named after dice instead of coins, though.
It’s a surprisingly relaxing game where you watch your tiny coin empire grow one flip at a time. Upgrades give just enough choice to feel smart, and unlocking new coins keeps things interesting without overcomplicating it. I never thought clicking coins could be this oddly satisfying ; partly productive, mostly silly, and somehow addictive in a very harmless way.

Simple mechanics are easy to learn but combined with a solid progression system they stay interesting over time. It works really well both for short breaks and longer play sessions, even though there are one or two small things that could be improved and I hope the developer will take them into account.
Fun and clean indie game with a simple but engaging core loop. Easy to pick up, challenging enough to keep playing. Worth supporting.
Coination developed and published by Cinderbyte is a compact incremental experience that builds its entire appeal around the satisfying loop of accumulation, automation, and gradual optimization. At its simplest level, the game asks players to generate currency through coin interactions, but it quickly expands into a familiar idle-game structure where manual input gives way to increasingly autonomous systems. What begins as a straightforward clicking activity slowly transforms into a self-sustaining economy, reflecting the core philosophy of the genre: turning repetition into efficiency and efficiency into exponential growth. The early stages of the game are deliberately hands-on, requiring players to actively engage with the mechanics by generating coins and collecting rewards through direct interaction. This phase establishes the basic rhythm of the experience and introduces the player to the physicality of the system, where coins exist as tangible objects rather than abstract counters. As progress is made, automation becomes the central focus, with upgrades unlocking systems that continue generating income independently. This transition is where the game finds its identity, shifting from active participation to a more passive form of engagement where the player’s role becomes one of oversight and optimization rather than constant input. Progression is driven by a branching upgrade system that allows players to improve efficiency, unlock new coin variations, and accelerate production rates. While the choices presented are not deeply complex, they provide a sense of direction and encourage players to think about how best to allocate resources for long-term gain. The introduction of different coin types adds a layer of visual and mechanical variation, giving the impression of expansion even if the underlying mechanics remain consistent. Over time, the focus shifts from individual actions to the overall system, with players managing growth rather than directly creating it. One of the more distinctive aspects of Coination is its use of physics-based interactions. Coins bounce, collide, and accumulate within a visible space, creating a dynamic visual feedback loop that reinforces the player’s progress. This adds a tactile quality to the early game, making even simple actions feel engaging. As automation takes over and the number of coins increases, the screen becomes a representation of the system’s success, with motion and accumulation serving as visual indicators of efficiency. This design choice helps maintain interest during the transition from active to idle gameplay, even as direct interaction becomes less frequent. Despite these strengths, the game’s limitations become more apparent over extended play. The core mechanics do not evolve significantly beyond their initial framework, and while upgrades improve efficiency, they rarely introduce new ways to engage with the system. The experience becomes increasingly predictable, with progression driven more by time and accumulation than by discovery or strategic depth. For players who enjoy the steady, meditative nature of incremental games, this may not be a drawback, but for those seeking variety or complexity, it can make the experience feel repetitive. The presentation supports the game’s design philosophy, offering a clean and readable interface that prioritizes functionality over visual flair. The aesthetic is simple but effective, ensuring that players can easily track their progress without distraction. Audio elements are minimal, serving primarily as background accompaniment rather than a defining feature. This understated approach aligns with the game’s overall tone, which emphasizes relaxation and gradual progression rather than intensity or spectacle. In the end, Coination delivers a focused and consistent incremental experience that stays true to the expectations of its genre. It offers a satisfying progression loop, particularly in its early stages, and succeeds as a low-pressure game that can be enjoyed in short sessions or left running in the background. However, its lack of mechanical evolution and limited content prevent it from maintaining long-term engagement for players looking for deeper systems or more varied gameplay. It is a game that does exactly what it sets out to do, but rarely goes beyond that. Rating: 6/10
I've spent 4 hrs wth Coination and wanted to leave a proper review because I think it deserves one. What I really like this game is how relaxing and satisfying the core loop feels. Rolling, upgrading, and progressing step by step gives that classic "just one more upgrade" feeling that good idle games have. The progression is simple to understand but still keeps you engaged. You always have a short-term goal to work. It is a chill game you can play while watching sthg or taking breaks. If you enjoy incremental idle games, give it a chance!
https://youtube.com/shorts/h4JUu0qgB-M The game's performance is unbearable. Tried forcing nVidia to give it max possible power but it chugs at 5-10 FPS no matter what. I tried forcing vsync on and you can see in my video it locks onto 100 FPS at the start screen but as soon as the game loads it forces into 60 FPS mode and then fails to maintain 20 FPS. Does the same in fullscreen mode, it is literally impossible to play and you need to get 100 million coins to get the achivements. Good luck at 10 FPS. In the store page it seems like you can have a playfield with thousands of coins on it, but my game was unplayable with 2-3 coins visible, and having 10 coins out there is far worse now. My playtime says 100 hours but the reason I only have a few items from this game is because it crashes constantly in the background, even after completely restarting Steam a zombie process of Coination will actually come back to life and start logging playtime. Every time I open this game, I'm basically guaranteed it will crash after an hour or two running in the background. Needs a lot of work!
Coination is a simple, lovely, and super fun 3D idle clicker game that quickly becomes addictive as you keep flipping coins, unlocking upgrades, and pushing toward completion. Its simple mechanics make it very easy to jump into, while the steady sense of progression encourages you to keep playing and “just finish one more upgrade.” The simple graphics fit the game well and keep it lightweight and relaxing, letting the gameplay loop shine without distractions. Overall, it’s a charming and enjoyable idle experience that’s easy to love if you enjoy casual, addictive progression-based games.
