Craft any magical spell you can imagine using the most powerful tool there is: code. CodeSpells is currently an unguided, sandbox experience for the bravest wizards who want to help the developers steer the game's development.

I'm sorry, but the game hasn't been updated in years. I would highly recommend not buying it. The concept was cool, but it's abandoned.
As one of the highest tier backers when the game was on Kickstarter (yes, yes, feel free to laugh), I am incredibly disappointed to see this game untouched in the many years since I last looked into it. The coding for the game is fairly basic and can be amusing to tinker with for a few minutes, but every mechanic is half-baked at absolute best. The mana needed to cast spells is a chore, enemies are pointless, nothing seems to actually do anything, and the game just looks... Funny. There's nothing redeeming about the game and there was not a single promise kept from the kickstarter. Contrary to how this may sound, this isn't a case of sour grapes. This "game", if it can even be called such a thing, is dreadful, and not even worth five USD. I wouldn't even recommend messing with it if it was free.
Abandonware. Do not buy.
Bought this in '19 cause it looked awesome, but haven't had a computer that could run it until recently. Finally decided to try it out, but I have to login to an account to play, and you have to scour Google for a reset link, to which I never received the password reset. There was reportedly a way to get past the login screen using some buttons, but that did not work, so I can't say I am impressed.
I don't know what they did but the built in code editor is completely broken, I wish they fix it because I think this is an extremely cool idea to learn how to code
Yea, don't. 8 years since last update. I am trying to maintain a 20% of my library gets reviewed avg so...just throwing more ♥♥♥♥ on the pile.
Great concept; badly optimized, confusing, ugly disappointment of an execution.
Codespells is abandonware since at least 2017. No updates in five years, the devs are long gone. It's basically a tech demo of a cool idea that was never realized. It's a shame, and also not really worth your money.
Negative reviewers just havent put in enough hours yet not dedicated to the grind Once you start to get the hang of the general interface and start using the evaluateunityscript js function it gets a whole lot more fun and interesting, and you can use the unity documentation to sort of navigate your way around programming the spells. No more mana costs, and complete freedom within what unity programming will offer. Hell yeah
У Batman Arkham цена почти таже. Делаем выводы!
