Craft any magical spell you can imagine using the most powerful tool there is: code. CodeSpells is currently an unguided, sandbox experience for the bravest wizards who want to help the developers steer the game's development.

Abandonware, do not purchase.
This game was sort of interesting 7 years ago when I bought it, but ultimately there wasn't a lot to do other than creating spells and launching them at the area around you. After a few updates, the dev team gave up on it about a year later. I just found the game again when going back through my steam library, and there hasn't been any updates to the game since 2017. Don't buy.

This looked good on kicstartter but the devs quit before it was finished.
This game could of been so cool it had so much potential the devs sold the bag truly sad

Abandonware
It's abandoned. I wish they went somewhere with it, but they didn't. Wouldn't recommend. It is fun for an hour or two, and then you run out of things to do, and, forget about it.
As one of the highest tier backers when the game was on Kickstarter (yes, yes, feel free to laugh), I am incredibly disappointed to see this game untouched in the many years since I last looked into it. The coding for the game is fairly basic and can be amusing to tinker with for a few minutes, but every mechanic is half-baked at absolute best. The mana needed to cast spells is a chore, enemies are pointless, nothing seems to actually do anything, and the game just looks... Funny. There's nothing redeeming about the game and there was not a single promise kept from the kickstarter. Contrary to how this may sound, this isn't a case of sour grapes. This "game", if it can even be called such a thing, is dreadful, and not even worth five USD. I wouldn't even recommend messing with it if it was free.
