It looks like BioShock by way of Tesla, and that premise alone is instantly appealing. The disappointment is that the game gives the player far less to actually do than its setting seems to promise.
A pleasant surprise the game's atmosphere is honestly incredible; the visuals and music are really cool. The story is, I think, fairly predictable, but it’s still brilliant. The gameplay might be just a tad repetitive at times, but honestly, this game is well worth checking out!

Close to the Sun to całkiem udana przygodówka z bardzo dobrym, mrocznym klimatem.
This game is a horror walking simulator, and it isn't a particularly good one. It should not be calling itself an adventure game, because the puzzles are few and they are trivial; there's one early that literally has step-by-step instructions posted right above the puzzle, and the difficulty stays right around there. Most of what you will be doing is either running around looking for keys and other "hidden" items, or running around in a number of boring, low-tension chase sequences that just aren't any fun. I can put up with a lot of those kinds of problems in a game where the narrative is compelling, but here it does not come close to that point for me. Also, the game does not tell you this, but it only saves between chapters, so when you want to stop playing, make darn sure it's right at the start of a chapter or you will lose progress.
I was having a blast with this. But it broke the cardinal rule of gaming: don't piss the player off. The chase sequences in this game are horrific. Way too tight timings, one mistake and you're dead, and trial and error repetition. No. Absolutely not. Screw this ♥♥♥♥. Don't bother with this. Unless you enjoy frustration, especially in the later levels, this is an avoid at all costs. It's a shame too, because the story is kinda neat, the setting is largely just 'We have Bioshock at home' but it was executed pretty well, and I enjoyed some of the puzzle solving. But those chase sequences are so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bad, and frankly tarnish all of the positives. Hard pass. 2/10
I really liked the ambience. It reminds me very much of Bioshock. Its sadly very dark, which you cant change in the settings and you dont have a flashlight or lantern. Also the two chase sequences in the beginning and in the end are a bit annoying because you rather have to guess where to go, i died three times at both chases before finding the right route. All in one its a nice game with an interesting story. It feels like a mix between Bioshock and Everybodys gone to the rapture. I would have wished more overall notes about the projects, especially at the second half of the game. All in one a nice game with a few scares. I can recommend it
This game is beautiful. The visual design of the ship is amazing; definitely cutting-edge for 1897. You want to stop playing the game and just look around where you are. I'd recommend playing one chapter per session. I recommend setting the Gamma to maximum so you can see a bit more. The keys seem to be W-A-S-D with Shift to sprint and Space to jump. Unfortunately these cannot be modified. Apart from that it is amazing. I needed to use youtube walkthroughs a few times where I couldn't figure out the puzzle or do the right moves fast enough.
