omg its a horrible game i cant finish the first stage
Close Order… What can I say, this game was very eventful, and I don’t mean to put that in a good way. Eventful as in the game constantly crashes and was literally impossible to beat. Now I have a lot of faith in these developers simply based on my judgements of the main menu and the music, but I personally do not think this game is currently in a playable state. It still needs a lot of work. My opinion on this game is based on the game’s current state and I still look forward to seeing how it turns out in the future. First off, I need to give this game some credit for its main menu. I really liked the music in the background and the fact that you had to actually fly your aircraft to the game mode you wanted to play. Being a musician and slowly getting into sound design and composing music for video games, I must give credit to the music composer because he did a great job. Also the fact that you were able to free roam really helped make the game more enticing to play by holding my attention and making the start of the game less boring. Now although the main menu looked and ran very well, the following is where my experience goes completely downhill. There was nothing but crashes all the way through even after resetting my computer and changing the settings multiple times. After the game crashing three times every time I landed in Story Hub 1, I was finally able to click on a mission. Although this got me excited, I was not able to start the mission, I was only able to watch a brief video. Although I was able to watch the video over and over again, I was unable to click on anything else or exit the mission itself. Out of frustration, I started pushing all the buttons on my keyboard until the pause menu came up, which sadly had caused the game to crash again. Now, this is usually when I would give up and not even attempt to try to play the game again, but like I said above, the menu itself and the music were so enticing I had to try again. This game looks like it has potential and I didn’t want to miss out on anything. I started the game again, but instead of going to Story Hub 1, I flew over to Survival mode, only to have the game crash again the moment I landed in the circle that brings you to the list of levels… I tried Story Hub 1’s mission, all of the survival modes, only to have the game crash every single time, not allowing me to even experience actual game-play. This is not something you want your game to have a reputation of doing. After finally realizing I had to click about two inches above what I wanted to actually select, I was finally able to start the first mission in Story Hub 1. This is not an issue with my PC as I have never experienced it before. Everything was fine once the game actually started though, which means that it must just be a simple coding issue that can very easily be fixed. Man oh man, was that first mission ever difficult. I could even destroy the first tier of enemies! After dying about a dozen times, I gave up with the only mission in Story Hub 1 that I was able to play, and headed back over to survival mode. This game is beyond difficult even when you have minions protecting you! Even in survival mode I wasn’t able to destroy all the ships attacking me after many attempts. It’s so difficult to see the bullets being shot from the enemies, and there’s so many of them that there’s no way to dodge any of them. With little to no progression in the game after around an hour of playing (not including all the time spent actually getting in-game), I decided to stop it there and simply just hope that the game will get fixed in the near future. This is not my type of game, so maybe I simply am just terrible at it, but I truly do not think that’s the case. This game is not challenging, it’s literally impossible to play. Although the main menu was very intriguing, the constant crashing and the game-play itself made this game completely unappealing to me. I am going to give this game a rating of 2/10. I really hope this game gets fixed. I am looking forward to checking it out again once I come back to it in a month or so!

Close Order Review Starts off with some cool music, and a cool Scene of space. Beam me up Scotty Lets get into this.. Game started me in a green gassy looking space area with asteroids as the tutorial begins, Looks strange. Maxed out my fleet off the bat, seemed a little too much like maybe I should have to earn the ability to have 45 ships lol I started shooting at an asteroid then out of nowhere came a bunch of ships, I collected some artifacts and it ended. Then this crazy cool video came on dug that. Then back to space again. Ok heres 1 thing I dont like, The Trails that are supposed to follow your ship dont follow accurately when turning the go to the side it looks weird. . Well i flew for ages and saw nothing after this....It said to get away, then a ship might be following, so kept going but nothing. So maybe some arrows saying turn around would help. I then turned around and flew towards the planet and found first enemy drone to take down. Easy peasy. 2nd one came up I killed it and it said Pick up scrap, so I did, and it still remained and wouldnt trigger the next thing to do, just pick up scrap and ring on screen and no scrap left. So now again I am lost. When I fly away from it the blue arrow points me back to it. guess you have to be right in the dead center of it. Had this Crash while switching screens: Oops The Game Crashed The crash report folder named "2016-01-24_135608" next to game executable. I then reloaded with continue and used the story hub, would like to see rings highlight the areas you can pick. This time I attacke a huge fleet while protecting a ship. This was a lot more fun then the tutorial. But I died shortly After. Then after killing first fleet, a crazier fleet attacks and music gets more intense. The music is kinda erie and action packed, kinda cool. The graphics arent bad for what it is, but some more detail could be added to some things like the ships. overall I think the game still needs some work to be compared to other games that are similar buts its not bad.
ODDIO!
Nice game, I would defenitely recommend it! would be nice if you leave me a steam comment if i could help you! Thanks!
What should I complain about? The fact that a -SPACE SHOOTER' has been restricted to a flat plane? Or even worse, that half the arenas are in places that look like they belong in a Serious Sam map? (One is seriously a 'royal courtyard' thing with statues and pillars, just floating in space.) How about the non-existant story, the 7 2-minute long missions that make up the entire game, the horrible unfitting soundtrack, the horrendous 'tutorial' that phases in and out of existance? This game is just unfinished. This would make a bad demo, much less a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 5 dollar game that has less content than a phone game.
Tags: Shootemup & Bullet Hell Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Design Flaws - Poor Gameplay. Cant aim. Large fleet = large hitbox. Slow movement. Invisible walls. Cheap 3D. Review: Close Order is a third person space shooter with surprisingly underwhelming 3D visuals. They look like they should be pleasant but they come across as surprisingly rough. The audio features some cool star wars style orchestra tracks that will come across as appropriate for space battles if albeit a little derivative. The core of the issue is this game's concept. The gimmick here is that instead of controlling one ship, you collect scraps from defeated foes and use them as currency to open up a menu and buy ships which appear in an instant by your side. They are all placed in hexes around you by default but can be remapped to different hexes. The first level makes sure to show you the wide variety of ships available. But from a quick glance I determined that there are basically three predictable types. Offensive which shoot stuff but have poor armor. Defensive which tank but dont shoot. Support, which heal other ships. What this translates into however is that the larger your fleet, the larger your hitbox, making it damn near impossible to dodge incoming fire. Defensive ships dont shoot and are useless as you can still get your capital ship sniped even if you are surrounded by them. Movement does not obey any expected ship behavior. You can go forward strafe and go backwards as if you were controlling a slow moving first person shooter protagonist. You cannot move on the Z level, so no vertical or downwards maneuvers just left and right dodging. Aiming is entirely done trying to get your ship to face the general direction of foes, with no aiming reticle or any aiming controls. Maps are very sparse with just some not all that pretty background and a few asteroids scattered around, maps are small and have invisible walls everywhere which will get akwardly in the way of your clumsy low speed evasive maneuvers. Missions are usually variations on collecting stuff at hotspots, fending off waves of foes or a mixture of the two. Conclusion: While it was nice to attempt a different concept, the gameplay just isnt there and this game is very much unfun and not worth the library clutter.

The game is not ready. But looks like Galaxy 3D. ________________________________ Игра не готова. Напоминает Galaxy
Not. Good. EDIT: I want to apologize for my non informative ♥♥♥♥♥♥ review. I really like the idea behind your game, and your games art style. Some real criticism though: Bugs: - Music loop is broken, stops and restarts at random - Audio menu is broken, sliders do not work properly (doesn't matter where I click on the screen, somehow only the Master Volume slider moves) - Fleet Screen (the one that pops up when pressing F) breaks after putting the player ship down one slot - Cursor can leave the screen, allthough resolution is set to monitors native resolution Things I'd like to have: - Slightly increased projectile speed for player lasershots - Indicator for the trajectory of bullets fired by player ships - Sound effect + light effect for engines of player ship when activating boost with SHIFT - Little particles in space that move towards the camera as the ship moves forward to give the player a feeling for the speed - Some new crispy pew pew lasersounds for the playership and some soundeffects for enemy laserfire - A "Restore Default" button in the options menu - When the comic characters talk add a "Press enter to see next dialogue" below the current dialogue Screenshots: Broken Fleet Screen: http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/455235530361717275/3007599E694B48B29593D12473E4B31B0C10E629/ Broken Audio Sliders: http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/455235530361647473/FAFEA49DA2BA894F0B02DAA69569935927DF453D/ I think there is a good game underneath the bugs and the lack of polish. But I still can not give you a positive review.
